Tatts. I hate to tell this to you but you buying the Shellworld was probably the best move anyone could have done to help me especially since it doesn't look like D'rek will end up with it. It was too much of a resource drain and then I wouldn't have had enough ships to defend it. Two monoliths gave one extra point for the same resources spent. You buying it, also had the added bonus of you not being able to bring more of your ships to bear against me. An extra 20 materials invested in ships attacking the GC would have crushed me and then Tapper would have had good enough odds to make a play on Zeta Hurculis too.

Would have put me from Points leader to 6th or 7th otherwise.




You was going to buy the monolith's regardless. The shell world would have been placed in the GC which no one would have taken off you. It's not over yet Mr.

I do recall you voicing something along those lines, yes. At first when he was thinking this and actually went ahead and did it I was pissed but as I had time to think about it after the fact I realized what a boon it turned out to be especially since you had stated a lack of interest in that hex (Why I don't know as it's a 6 point hex and the best artifact hex outside Zeta Hurculis at this point was worth only 4 to you).
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Mmm yes, I built a Cruiser in Arcturus last turn, but Gnaw hasn't added it in I guess.

I'm also not sure if it matters too much to you if your destination is the shellworld. You can always leave one interceptor in Arcturus, and then when I move a ship out, you'll be free to move it again.

Or I might try to leave 2 ships in Arcturus to ensure you can't reinforce the shellworld or Pollux.

It is kind of an important move for me I think, and it's a shame if a board mistake is the reason I'm not allowed to rethink my move.


Especially seeing as how we're only like 2 actions past my own.

What are you talking about? Khell hasn't made his move after you made yours. Tatts is a provisional. You can change your move as the move was proven as illegal and Khell hasn't made his action.

Looks like the deal is there are two of Khell's ships in Arcturus a cruiser and an interceptor. Khell seems to think so and I checked back on his last action and he did build a cruiser. So if there was an interceptor there before (I can't remember) then there are now two ships currently sitting there.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

At the beginning of the round I had two cruisers and two interceptors in Arcturus. One interceptor went north, the two cruisers went west. One interceptor remained, and then I built another cruiser.

For what it's worth, I am not planning to reinforce that cruiser in the shellworld hex, nor do I have any interest in Pollux (else I would have influenced it long ago). But you are blocking my way. I can always upgrade while you move out of my way I suppose.

If you left a single ship in Arcturus and then moved it promptly next time that would be fine, yeah. Basically, I want to go to Altair and fight with D'rek there. So I don't need to go through Pollux, but I do need my ships free.
