Coward.

I could have stayed put and upgraded my dreads to beat you but I wasn't interested. I'm looking forward to being able to do a shit ton of actions next round.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I think we're waiting for SS turn 2.

I thought for sure he went already. 2 upgrades so far isn't it?

You're right. my bad. CF/IH turn.

I'm going to have fun chomping on poor defenceless Arcturus. Some galactic ruler you are.

Hi, been busy today and haven't checked in as a result.

I like the way all this speak of attacks is going. If we are doing this, we need to hit and hit hard.
Tapper, you are gunning for the 2 hexes right of centre?
Khell is gunning for the dreads and can pin them immediately.
I can pin the 3 interceptors over in the homeworld no problem, plus nuke the system directly to my north.
SS will need to play nice and agree not to attack tapper or me during all this, or try for some kind of long-distance move through his warp portal via my territories either to the right or left.
D'rek is going to head into Aldebran and take that out.

Tatts you are stuck with centre duty, and will have to sacrifice 2 interceptors to get your dreads out. I think this is the only alternative for you because otherwise we let Twelve sit there and bloat while we vultures move in on your territories. Tapper already asked if I would move my ship so he can head in, and I'm definitely thinking along the same lines.

But I think all recognize the need for concerted action vs. twelve now, right?

I don't think Tatts can do any sort of centre duty - I already built 4 starbases so he can't get his dreads out.

Not that I think he's willing to help anyways. (or trustworthy enough even if he says he is)

I'm not much of a history buff but I'm fairly sure that most "rulers" throughout history have done much worse than I could ever do. And who says that it's going to be defenseless?

Ah, my mistake. You taking away your most potent weapons and "potentially" replacing them with inferior ones is something your Arcturian citizens will no doubt thank you for.

I'm starting to count how many hexes I can occupy now that you've moved your dreads out of the way

Round 7

Turn 1.
UPGRADES dreadnought. Positron computer over electron computer, and Plasma cannon over ion cannon.

Turn 2.
UPGRADES cruiser.
Replace electron computer with positron computer and nuclear drive with fusion drive.

A bit late with that reply there.

I don't see why even 4 of D'rek's starbases, with both an added plasma cannon and improved hull would be any serious threat to Tatts two dreads, let alone with the two fighters in support.

Sure, he might lose some territory, but he'll still be a strong military power at the end of this round.

Whether they are or not, those Dreads aren't going anywhere this round.

Unless I also build two interceptors. And you have to move yours into the hex, too. One action for me, two for you. You can try moving that interceptor from Mu Arae in as well, if you like - I'll move my cruiser in.

Agreed Morgoth,

I didn't realize D'rek did 4 bases...but I'm way more disconnected now that I'm not modding the board.

@Tapper, my fellow glass cannonite

Seems like nobody is really up for a pounce on Twelve at the moment (if ever). Feel like a 2 pronged attack on your neighbour? I can hit the northern warp portal with my full force and you can head in the south. He can split his fleet as he sees fit to deal with the threat, but either way he's toast.

@Gnaw
What do you want to do with modding? If you want to hand back control then I'm happy to keep on doing it. If you want to continue then go ahead. I'm fine with it either way.

Why do you say this? As far as I'm aware, people are still up for this. I thought that was the only reason Tapper took neutron bombs, to keep them out of twelve's hands. D'rek can still spare her ship for Aldebaran/Pollux (I doubt Tatts will escalate things further, it just wouldn't pay off for him), you and Tapper can still move in to twelve's and/or Tatts' territories, as can SS. Whittle them both down. Yes, twelve's dreads can move around now, but that's where we position our ships smart.

The more who join in, the more twelve has to defend, the more stretched he becomes. Everyone can come out with something.

This made me laugh. It's exactly the kind of parodied saying you'd hear about Hitler or something.
Or better still, like I pictured shadowthrone saying it. Haha.

SS is asking for advice and I gave him some based upon knowing that I'd be returning the game to you tomorrow.

@SS As a nonplayer, I won't mislead you. And I damn sure won't do it with the mod hat on.

I think cf is back in charge again. I think we are waiting on negotiations to be completed.
