If I'm honest, I forgot. All I could think of was getting the tech, and putting drives on. I was worried someone might take a shot, and I needed to be able to move more than one space.
I didn't really see the portal as a get-while-you-can opportunity as nobody has expressed an interest in it or even seems to need it like I do.

If I do get stuck without it, then maybe I'll have to take a shot through you. But, really I don't feel confident in victory, not that I do anywhere else, and also I can't really afford to lose the income.
I'm really just winging it at the mo. I'm not going to win, but that I've managed to last this far pleases me.

I have to say I'm not entirely pleased with what is going on with Khell/Gnaw. So to further the idea that he should go elsewhere.
