For the record, I am not attempting to criticize anyone in any way.
I was handed a file. It did not contain an object that I thought was there. I found it, but in turn found that 2 others were not there. I do not know why they are not there. No one's game has been hurt by the lack of those tiles.
The SVG file is comprised of 1151 objects. The starry background image is an object. Each population cube is an object. So 2 missing objects? That's a 0.00737% error rate.

I'm really not bothered anyway. My gaming pleasure has been compromised not one jot!!!
And yes when you put it like that, an error of 0.00737%, that's well within my tolerances.

Does 12 remaining discovery tiles sound right? Question aimed at those who would know.

Haha. Like the way you put that small amendment at the end. I wouldn't know shit. Haha.
I know I'm low on VP's, but I'll probably still take the tech/ship/resources bonus.
Greedy like that.

From Orokos Dice Roller:
4th tech discovery tile: 1d12 1
ancient cruiser
I don't know off hand what the VP is. But I can look it up if you wish.
Otherwise, you place a cruiser in your homewold hex.

Holy crap another free cruiser? You have one scary army yourself there Solid. I think you have enough materials for your last dread if you so desire this round. That is one serious army.

On other hand. There is a strategy that could very well work for you. When you're in a hole with only one way out and somebody is out there with an axe you've got 2 options:
You have crappy production so if your pretty fleet gets decimated you're toast. So much for #1.
Number 2 is: Buy Orbital next round. Build orbitals in all 4 hexes behind you. Buy monoliths. Build them in all 4 hexes behind you.
And tell the rest of the galaxy to go to hell.
Edited for clarity.
- Go out and face them
- Dig in deeper.

Now THIS is a plan.
I do believe I started with the "Australia in risk" analogy, and I did say early on that I could just play the defensive game and defend my bottle neck, as is my usual game strategy.
It's wether or not anybody comes though.
I had intended to get warp portal this round, and was gutted about not being able to afford the 2nd dready, that seems a good arms race benchmark. I'm not too bothered now I've gained another cruiser. Very nice.
Just to confirm, I'll take the cruiser on my home system.
Thanks for the draw gnaw!!

There are only 3 rounds left, you don't have the production to do orbitals and monoliths in the time you've got left.

Spoils sport.
Yeah I'm pretty much committed to branching out now that I've waited this long. Not too fussed though, got a new cruiser so I can still come out this round with a new ship AND a warp portal.
Got some upgrading to do though eh?
