The Terran Union wishes it to be known to all speices of the galaxy that we are a peaceful people and wish to be friends with all. This galaxy is big, we can all explore for the rest of our lives and not begin to find all the treasures, species, and resources.
Our recent friendship pact with the Rh Indi is as precious to us as any other we have.

Make that:
UPGRADE Improved Hull over Hull on starbases, Positron Computer over Electron Computer on cruisers.

However. The Terran Union finds the recent Rho Indi invasion of the squids to be a warning. A government that only has two friends and stabs one in the back. We take notice. For such a friend can not be a friend any longer than it takes for them to sharpen their knife. Therefore, the Terran Union has no choice but to withdraw our ambassador and

I am going to have my tea, and come back and assess whether I want to build, move or influence as a reaction.

Influence isn't a valid reaction action, Upgrade is the only other thing you could do besides Build or Move.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Hah.
So my betrayal has meant another betrayal. Khell, want to diplo up again?
It's probably not your ideal given our rocky past, but at least we can get another round out production boost. I'm actually planning on moving my cruiser out of B. Hydri anyway. So that's fair trade right?

Gee, I wonder what could have helped inspire Gnaw to commit that betrayal
I'll think about the diplo, again depends on what the next moves are.

Mine's going to be to vacate B. Hydri. I don't have much choice in the matter!
At present I can set it up so I only lose one ship this turn and by blind luck *might* not lose my systems (gnaw doesn't have N.bombs).
No point trying to hold a system that will potentially be disconnected by next round.
Oh, and in case nobody noticed, Gnaw's empire is getting a bit out of hand these days. Somebody knock him down to size for the love of god.

The no nukes is what you're counting on I assume? I've got an excellent chance of wiping myself out with the overreach.
And as for knocking down to size: That's why I'm doing what I'm doing. If you took out Khell with all these sweet hexes over here I don't think I could have stopped you once you really got rolling.
*shrug*

If you'd thought about it, you might have noticed I didn't have a chance in hell of killing any of Khell's sweet hexes anytime soon, but that's on you, and my move to the contrary might have been a tip that I was backing off him.
And why the heck you aren't worried about Tapper with his ability to mass-produce ships on a moment's notice, I have no idea.
Anyway what's done is done. I didn't have much of a chance this game, and now have even less, but that's the way she goes.
