I'm not butthurt or anything. I get what you were trying to do.

I just think it was misdirected.

If you'd thought about it, you might have noticed I didn't have a chance in hell of killing any of Khell's sweet hexes anytime soon, but that's on you, and my move to the contrary might have been a tip that I was backing off him.

And why the heck you aren't worried about Tapper with his ability to mass-produce ships on a moment's notice, I have no idea.

Anyway what's done is done. I didn't have much of a chance this game, and now have even less, but that's the way she goes.

Eh, just consider this a setback. You should be able to grab the gluon computers soon then you will make Gnaw regret his transgressions.

Edit:

Nevermind. Even with the discount your science level's are taking a serious hit. The best you can hope for is Positron computers with fusion source.

I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Ha.

Pirates don't forget a slight so easily. I will sit and defend my systems until round 9 and then expend my entire force ensuring that Gnaw ends up in last place!

My main worry now is that I can't get that last interceptor out of zeta draconis. As it stood I was going to give B. Hydri back to Khell for free and take out the 2 ancients with very high chance of success. With 2 interceptors I've only got about a 70pct chance of taking each.

@CF,

Why are you afraid of Gnaw's cruisers? You have inititive and better computers (once you factor in your shields). Your cruiser and and interceptor should be able to take on all three of his cruisers. Even if you lost I'm sure you could take out two of his before you did. Though with low compters it's always risky.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I noticed that myself. It's mean, but that's why I pinned your ship.

I'm going to guess that, "Sorry" isn't going to make things right is it?

The odds are high against it happening, but there is a possibility that CF comes out of combat phase with zero systems. Thin. But possible.

haha...no. I have a mind to throw caution to the wind, zip my cruiser onto Beta sextantis, another interceptor to your WH hex and a third interceptor to your supernova hex. I might not win any of the interceptor v. cruiser battles, but I'd at least force you to lose the WH hex, gain the extra production for myself for a round, or else bankrupt yourself even further by building defenses / moving your last cruiser.

But that's just a silly suicide move really. Probably best to just stick my cruiser in z. draconis, put that interceptor up in Rho Indi and then pray for Beta Sextantis and Kappa Scorpii. That's the best chance all around I think.

BY THE WAY OTHERS

This is the weakest Gnaw is likely to get in the near future. He's put half his fleet in my hexes and if you force him to make another action, he'll be broke and forced to shrink.

GP, you'll never get a better chance while you're isolated from Twelve and Morgoth is tied up with D'rek. For reals.

What? As in taking no reactions? He sounded like he was mulling over his reaction options.

Edit:

That was his last round's action. Last I heard he was thinking of doing a reaction.

Isn't his dread still just one hex from Gnaw's homeworld? That'd be an easy reaction, then.

Oh, yes, I read wrong.

GP is apparently not a sissy.

This does not change the fact that it's about his only chance at striking Gnaw. GP, if you go after his homeworld, I'll do what I can to ensure he has a few less cruisers after this round.

There are two problems. The first is you can't form a new diplomatic relation until someone else takes the traitor card from you. The second is I would have to discard a 3 point reputation tile to accept it as I have no more room to accept such a card so I'm not going to do that.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

He's just plain not thinking.

I would've asked you the same, twelve, after Gnaw took the card, but it seemed insulting just to suggest you discarding a 3-VP rep tile. Figured I'd wait and ask later after Tapper betrays you :p
