I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Nice use of that surplus cash you had there. Too bad you don't have any good tech to go on your ships.

Well Morgoth, how do you want to do this? A big honourable battle of doom? Or are you going to flit around with your cloaking device trying to sabotage my systems with guerilla tactics?

Battle of doom! Battle of doom!

The last time D'rek entered a battle of doom, Tattersail overcame odds of a hundred-to-one to beat her.

Does the cloak work the other way? your ship pins 2 of hers?

A big show down probably favors you slightly even though Morgoth has more ships. Poor CF would have to go through something like 30 rounds before he get's close to a winner in that battle senario. (I can see Morgy adding additional hulls and shields to even the odds a bit). Playing swat the fly would probably give Morgoth a good chance to hang around long enough to grab some better tech that could even the odds even more.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Nope. It still takes two of his ships to pin two of hers.

First timer speaking, so there's got to be a hole in this.

Move your interceptor into the hex with her cruiser. Pins it so it can't move into 321.

Take out the other ancient. Discovery tile.

Pray that Round 5 a miracle occurs.

I've posted my next action on the first page, in case it gets that far overnight.

Just gonna move both my recently victorious cruisers back to my home world from Chi Draconus

Have we had any drives drawn yet?

There is one fusion drive available at the moment. Cost is 4/3. It has 2 movement, uses 2 energy and gives 2 inititive.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Now if only Tapper would post his action so I can get mine in...... I'll probably PM CF my action so he can update in the morning before I can log on.

I've posted an update to the Simple Map in my OP. Since explores are all done, took out all the extra "potential" systems so it is quite clean, now. It's current upto the latest board update, so start of round 4.

I really like how you added the warp portal connections too. Though for future updates I no longer have Zeta Reticuli influenced and have no plans on ever influencing that barren wasteland of a hex.

Fair enough.

How would I get that point defense?
By defeating ancients?

It's a rare tech. First it needs to be drawn during one of the tech draws and then you have to be lucky enough to have is still on the board when it's your turn to research it as there is only one. It is excellent defense against missles. It single handedly kept IH in the game last game.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
