CF are you planning on taking Twelve's science and materials planets?

Tapper has been putting in provisionals all game. Right now I believe it's Morgoth's turn. Plus Gnaw needs to update his first post with his official action. It sounded like he was going to explore as his action but there is some tension between he and Tatts so he might do something else.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Yeah what are you planning with that cruiser CF? If you are going after both double ancients then kindly move your ships your next action else I will be forced to move one of my dreads back to my home world. That would make me one unhappy imperialist.And you wouldn't want to see my unhappy would you?

I already told twelve my intentions. I'm most likely heading for the southern double ancient first, since it will be harder for me to pull ships to the back lines later in the game. Plus, with Khell most likely turtling to a certain extent and building his research VPs, if I don't take the hex now, he definitely will.
Also, since I need to make 2 move actions to get all 3 ships to EITHER ancient sector regardless of cruiser placement, I might as well have them all somewhere central in case of funny business on the part of Twelve. It's pretty easy for him to pop 2 dreads into Rho Indi sector and eliminate me in the 2nd round. The move is therefore a small deterrent to Twelve AND gearing up for my own battle down south. Getting 2 birds stoned at the same time!
@Twelve.
I'll move my ships whenever I please. How about instead of me immediately pinning my ships and trusting you, you go ahead and pin your ships somewhere you can trust me! I have no need or desire to chase your homeworld this round. With my piss-poor hexes I'd be stupid to sacrifice the extra production this early-on, especially since I'd not survive your vengeance in Round 3. My attcking you would only knock us both back.
All this war mongering.....tsk tsk.

@GP
Dread constructed in Mu Arae
@Morgoth
Confirm pass - but if that dread causes you concern then I don't think it's a big issue retracting your provisional pass.
@All
I'm actually going to stop there, since GP's dreadnought might affect what Morgoth and D'rek want to do.

I am moving Dread into Vega. Morgy knows this I think. I will put down the provisional if you like.

How about a compromise? I move my ships on my very next action and you do the same to yours. Actions speak louder than words and yours tell me that you could be up to some funny business by building your cruiser where you did. And no it's not so easy for me to reach Rho Indi as you seem to think.

Forgot about tallying up victory points at the end of round 1. Does everybody want to handle that themselves and keep a tally on the 1st page? It's pretty easy to do it that way and prevents mistakes since everybody knows their own corner of the board best.

Gnaw should have totally chosen Magellan, What, this is his fourth discovery tile of the game already? Would have definately helped offset some of the less than desireable hexes that he is drawing. But on the good side he got yet another material planet to colonize. Maybe he should go with the swarm approach. Build tons of ships and swarm over whoever he attacks.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

If you do that, you're already trusting I'll keep my end of the bargain...cos you're forced by turn order to go first. It's no different than just trusting in general that I'll not attack.
Really, honestly, my cruiser went in Rho indi so that I could pick either north or south double ancients on a whim. I guess I could have done that regardless of where I built it, but it's too late now anyway. It does me no good to chase your hexes this turn and I will lose against your dreadnoughts in any case next round, given that your sole purpose in life will be destruction of the syndicate thereafter.
My choices: 1 - betray twelve for minor gain this round and terrible retribution next round; 2- go after double ancients, get an econ & science world without pissing anybody off, get a discovery tile, get "pillage" money for winning the battle, possibly enter diplo with khell.
Choice 1 makes no sense.

I would be fine doing that. Plus if you force people to count their own points they will probably keep a closer tab on everyone else too.
