I have a question about those ion missiles that Khell nabbed from his discovery draw. Didn't Tapper already get those? I thought, from a conversation with D'rek, that there should be only one set of ion missiles and after reviewing the list of discovery tiles that were were short an ancient orbital tile. If that is the case wouldn't Khell have drawn an orbital instead of missiles? I know I should have brought this up sooner but with the holiday and extended weekend I forgot.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

An extra ion missile tile comes with pulsar or supernova expansion...can't remember which.

Are you sure it isn't in the expansion content? We played with it last game (but didn't use supernova)...so I assumed that it was part of the expansion stuff.
Kinda late for a re-draw. I guess we're using 2 ion missile tiles.

Yes, after I look at the expansion rulebook, I see it's not part of the "official" expansion stuff.
So why did we use it last game if we weren't using supernova?

To confirm, yes, I only have one interceptor (and a slow-moving cruiser), so I could not pin both of twelve's dreads in my first go.
Don't you see? 223 has the money planets on the top and science to the left. 225, my proper hex, has money and science on the bottom of the hex. That difference impacted my entire strategy for the game!

Because I felt like it. There's nothing saying you have to use ALL of an expansion's content.

But it confused me and now it has BASICALLY RUINED THE GAME FOR EVERYBODY

Cheating by devious manipulation of the mod prior to the game even starting and before you knew I was going to mod it.

Firstly, I didn't get the extra discovery or whatever, so it's definitely not ME cheating!
And secondly, if you were occasionally posting how many discovery tiles were left "in the bag" I would have caught the error and told you!
Just change the second-drawn one to an Ion Disrupter instead (that hasn't been drawn yet has it?)

I guess if we caught the error a bit sooner we could have had CF redraw the discovery tile. Frankly at this point I'm okay with whatever way the mod decides either keep the extra tile in or do a complete redraw for Khell or swap out one ship part for another.
I also agree that I'm bored waiting for SS to log on and post his move. I hope IH/Tapper will be quick on the draw to get their action in so you all can finally see my master defense plan unfold.

Seeing as how a major reassignment of resources for Khell could be the product of a re-draw, and we're already done upkeep and have already drawn tech, I don't think it's the best idea to re-draw.
Looking at the OP spoilered image, it was included since day 1 (and not an accidental copy paste along the way on my part) ...so let's just keep it and pretend there were always 2.

I do admit that between the supernova, ancient hive and Khell's homeworld, there are definately three very juicy hexes available if I so desire to take them.

Yeah CF hasn't done a startnd update yet but it is your go.

You should know what your starting resources are from your upkeep. Do you need help determining what tech is still around?

For tech look at the current board and then add this to the selection minus the plasma cannon (which you already have) and both improved hulls (which you don't but missed out on) and that should be what is available for tech.
