Looks like the beasts from Ghostbusters.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I should should furious at yet another delay.
But given how slow my Malaz re-read is going (just started HoC), I just maybe able to get to FoD again by February. And I REALLY need a refresher on MT, RG and TtH onwards with anything involving ancient history (my recollection of ongoing storylines is pretty OK).
Plus I need to actually understand WTF is Vitr this time around...

Do we know why the book keeps getting delayed?
Do we need to sacrifice a virgin to appease Steven Erikson so he'll give us the book?!

Hopefully because there is that much ass kickery and emotional rollercoasters involved he keeps getting lost in his own story, and reappearing at random intervals and has to delay the release to suit!

He's probably still pondering where the war on death needs to go and if it will be a trilogy or a quadrology.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.
