I threw the trailer on HD, it's definitely Torvi to Lag's left.

Sidebar interesting information: Torvi is played by Georgia Hirst....show creator Michael Hirst's youngest daughter....while his eldest daughter Maude Hirst played Helga. #TheMoreYouKnow! It's funny, I always thought that Helga and Torvi looked alike, but I just chalked it up to "norse looks" and not that they are real life sisters. Cool!

Agreed. Her character progression this season was one of the best on the show. For sure.

Also, with regards to who Jonathan Rhys Meyers is playing, according to Hirst, he is a type of warrior bishop that Hirst found while investigating the era historically, they were kind of antecedents to the Knights Templar. Devout to god, but also warrior priests who enforced justice and faith at the tip of their sword.

That sounds cool as fuck.

Scarred faced dude who made an attempt on Kattegat and ended up on rotisserie while Lagertha was getting info out of him. And Floki and Helga's slave/daughter. I guess neither death are that meaningful, except the murder/suicide of Helga and daughter kicks Floki off into journey of faith?

About the character Jonathan Rhys Meyers is playing. I read that when he sins, he has to self-flagellate to atone. So we should expect to see whips on back flesh and resultant scars. I'm guessing this will also shape his agro personality in combat?

Not one, not two, but three new hours of Vikings!

The first hour looks like it is retrospective about Lagertha, so, maybe not so new, but instead a review of how she came to be who she is. Then the two hour premier of Vikings season 5 (which includes ep1 and ep2)

Floki actually DOES end up sailing north and founding Iceland (as his historical counterpart truly did). That's the one bit of history I want them to nail because it REALLY fits with who Floki is.

Harald`s actions didnt make much sense. Neither did Lagetha`s.

Otherwise all good solid two hours of Viking action and I'm very curius about the battle shaping up between Aethulwulf and Headmund`s forcesvs the Vikings.

Headmund is a total headcase.

Looking fwd to more of Bjorn and Halfdan at Club Med.
