All I could come up with was that he's that healer from the Monastery Murders (I think) who can heal themselves, but if they do it twice in a row, they die. And that he might have been planning to do that in order to get into Rikkter. But then, I'm probably only thinking that because I want him to become Rikkter quite badly.

I'm thinking that Karosis was Amp. There was something that he said that reminded me of something similar in our offthread comms.

The damn reload totally screwed me up. I didn't bother to take notes thnking that I could just refer back to the comms and then they were cut off from me. Wish the mods added this alt to the conversations before deleteing them so I didn't lose anything.

I wouldn't try recruiting Amp either. He told me that Lio, the previous one, had an ability that made him unrecruitable as long as he was alive.
