That whole episode was an absolute LOVE LETTER to Episode I, and then some FALLEN ORDER, Some TCW, and even a Jurassic Park reference.

That Mando's new ship is a fucking Naboo N1 Starfighter, revamped like a souped up Mustang...fuck me I LOVE that. Then add in the "pod race" sequence, Beggar's Canyon, and a womp rat?

But then I'm a BIG Prequel fan.

Basically my fave ep of the season by a LONG stretch, and confirms my feelings that I much prefer MANDO over BOBF...and that Favreau is not afraid to thumb his nose at people who don't like the Prequels.

Totally agree that the starfighter was done up like a Mustang! Though I thought the literal "header" out on the "hood" was a bit much, but...

The Darksaber responds to emotions, and kind of forms a kinship with it's wielder, so until he trains with it and learn to become one with it, it will seem heavy...once he tunes himself to it, it will swing as light as a lightsaber.

This is why the Armorer explains that Din is "fighting" it and that's why it's heavy. He needs to fight WITH it. The darksaber actively PULLS other weapons in towards it all on its own.

This is also why Moff Gideon used it well, he'd had it since he took it off Bo Katan, and he filed his rage into using it.
