I watched the first Ewok movie a ton as a kid, loved it, but I think I saw the second one only once and don't remember a single detail, so it'll be cool to watch them both either way.

I'm going to wait for the Snyder cut of the Ewok movie.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wicket in super slo-mo.

Snyder should be given a Star Wars movie, if only to finally ask: Who Is Darth Galt?

Worth it. Wicket was made to wear that black suit.

Here's hoping the rumours are true and Waitit is making the next trilogy.

I heard it was a single film, either way since I adore the mans work, I can't think of any other SW film project that I'm as excited for.

Rupert Friend looks like Evil Orlando Bloom.

I'm just glad that Edgerton gets another swing at Uncle Owen....I feel the Uncle Owen / Obi-Wan conflict is ripe for good TV.

So what exactly is the Bad Batch? Seen it popping up all over Disney+ today. I've not been following any of the SW shows except for Mando but this one looks kind of cool.

The Bad Batch were a squad of Clones (Clone Force 99) who had genetic abnormalities, or mutations which result in them being super specialists in their respective tasks (sharpshooter, tactics, tank ect.) and made them an elite force to send on missions that required "off the wall/off the books" tactics.

They are featured in an arc of the final season of THE CLONE WARS, if you want to check out their introduction (I think it's 3 episodes?) to the universe...the new show is post-Purge I think, and will also feature Ming Na Wen's MANDOLORIAN character Fennec Shand (in animated form)....and Caleb Dume - Which is what Kanan Jarrus; Jedi from REBELS was called when he was a Padawan and escaped Order 66 (played here again by Freddie Prinze Jr. who voiced Kanan on REBELS).

I think the show is going to be dope.

Think THE A-TEAM....but with Star Wars Clones.

TCW and REBELS are both excellent. TCW took what the prequels made story-wise/idea wise, and made a phenomenally written 7 season tv show out of it, filling in the gap between ATOC and ROTS. TCW actively makes the prequels BETTER just by dint of fleshing out everything at play in those films. The final 4 episode arc of TCW can actually be watched in tandem with ROTS and it all fits together (I think someone even edited them together on YouTube?).

And REBELS is stunning bridging material from the Prequels/TCW to the OT-era, and features appearances by people like Leia, and Lando in small roles, but focuses on a smaller group of Rebels who existed just as the Rebellion against the empire is gaining traction in shadowy groups. It also features a young boy who was born the same day as Luke, who grows up and joins that small faction as they fight against the Empire.

Both shows are very much worth your time if you are in any way interested in SW content, and honestly I think are two of the best pieces of SW media that exist.

EDIT: You'll also recognize people from MANDO, like Ahsoka, and Bo Katan, both of whom make their first appearances in The Clone Wars.

QT is half right. The Clone Wars is excellent -- but it decidedly does not make the prequels any better.

The prequels are fine, and I consider ROTS the second best SW movie of all time under RO. They have some cringe dialogue and some of the execution is off in some of it...but they are still really good. And now I have a whole generation of people who grew up with them to back me up

By jove you absolutely should. I put off Clone Wars forever until someone (Traveler I think, QT maybe) posted a picture highlighting the best episodes to watch. So i decided to watch just the highlights, and they were awesome. I'm slowly making my way through the whole thing this time around.

Rebels is pretty solid also. I dont think its overall as good, but its high points are than Clone Wars'. If that makes any sense.
