This is going to be a faction game, so while there is lynching, there may not be night kills and there will be recruiting. There should be at least 2 faction leaders, and you typically get a pm telling you that you have been recruited to another team. My advice is to read the rules posted in the OP carefully, and feel free to pm Path-Shaper if you have any questions. Have fun!

Lady Bliss started the sign-up page so it is safe to assume she knew something concerning Shin's plan.

HOWEVER this conversation happened a day after Shin announced that he would run the game. So Bliss could have been fucking with my mind before it ever started.
My own thoughts on the subject reserved until I find out whether I am modkilled and blacklisted.

I don't know that I would take something from a pre-game conversation as too serious, specially when it's not from the game creator's mouth.

That being said, if you think there's still a recruiter out there (which, if there was a recruiting mechanism, I truly believe it was Eloth and he's now dead) then who do you think it is and why?

I am either part of a faction, in which case unless im ouchi its even odds, and even with them there only a player down so its a little early to be jumping ship, or im an assassin in which case im probably not powerless, or a hidden mechanic, again probably not powerless

There is a recruit mechanic.
There are only two factions with membership set upThe third is the recruits.The assassins are independent

Why?
I think Hosakawa is destabilizing Amako and Ouchi using the recruits rather than their own clan members. And doing so by recruiting under the Ashikaga clan name. The note to the master "all is going to plan"

I think Galain was a faction member not a leader. I thought he was a leader but now I don't. The Ouchi posts mentions many Captains.

This could all be wifom. Or Bliss' comment could be real. Either way I'm fairly confused. A culture hunt is fine with me. But I'd really like to know just how many cultures we're hunting.


And Meanas? Why the flat "stop posting"????? Or should I have addressed that to Lady Bliss?

I did an advanced search for your posts. Used 18 Sept as the start date. Listed as posts instead of topics.

All your posts are vague. No hint of "I don't think X is in my faction" type posts. Which could be simply really good play. Or it could be you don't have a faction.
And everybody keeps saying Eloth is a recruiter. Doesn't a recruiter imply recruits? We focused on the Korosis comment about unaligned and general assassins. We never considered that there might be non assassin recrutitables.

And, ironically, if I,m right you're not currently worth bothering with. (Here come the you're symping accusations.)

I thinkI'm right. I think Bliss slipped pre-game. I rhink we,re playing a different game than we thought we were. TSMI 8.
So I did a Hedge.
