The other captains and their seconds looked about in a confused silence that followed. The skepticism in the air was as thick as incense smoke.
"Enough!" Shouted Ouchi Yoshino. "We have heard your words, and we fail to accept your premise." There was a swelling mutter of agreement from the men assembled. Ouchi gestured and the page set the dagger in front of Yoshiuki.
Without a word, he strode out into the courtyard, knelt and disemboweled himself. His lieutenant took his head, and the meeting was adjourned.

you gunning for assassins from beginning of the game
And the fact that you have been on all lynch trains can only show 2 things :
1.you are independent and have a VC for killing assassins .(In which case I say we ignore all your posts and leave you alone)
2.you know all members of your faction.(which I don't think is possible, but if it is possible it means you are pretty important and we should lynch you)

Alright, in Sengoku 2, the factions were made up of - Leader, General, Lieutenant, Spearman
In Sengoku 1, it was a town vs. scum game, so not very helpful.
Either way, no indication of where in the hierarchy a Captain would stand. If we're thinking teams of 4, I am thinking Captain might be just below a Leader, but above everyone else. But that's just instinct, there's no proof to back that up until we start finding some more faction folk with our lynches and kills.
So it would be nice if we could get some discussion on thread. What do people think of Karosis as our next lynch target? Anyone have any other suggestions?

I think if anyone's being obnoxious here, it's you. I mean, what kind of comment is "I would have gone with Karosis, but now that you want to try for him . no , thank you." It seems designed only to try to get a rise out of me, which, I'm sorry to disappoint, you'll not get. That kind of comment is certainly much more obnoxious than someone who is actually playing the game if you ask me.
No one asked you.
but I believe you are familiar with "gut " feelings ?

Are you a captain and a leader?
It seems a possibility . If you are captain and your faction's leader, you would want to inform the thread that we got a leader and we should start a culture hunt.

Mainly the bullet points. I do not recall anyone except Mockra using them, and now D'riss (who has not used them before) comes out with a bullet pointed list. I'm also baffled that you seem to be trying to Grandfather in anything Mockra said as being correct? Why would that be?

You got me Liosan. I used bullet points. And nobody ever uses this, so from now on anyone who does must be me.
You completely missed the slip I made about being in Han's faction. I must get Yod....er, the little green guy to talk to you and do that hand wave thing I've heard about.
Now, on to the faction hunt. Where reasoning is suspicious and wine is in front of everyone!

So from the scene it seems that one assassin tried to kill another, but the one who was to be killed was already dead? Does that not seem odd to anyone or do you think it was just flavor in the scene by Shin?

I've been thinking about that. Before Eloth's CF we were assuming 4 assassins. What if 2 assassins targeted Korbas last night?

if eloth was independent, and mocka and korbas are dead assassins
does that mean that the one last assassin has now completed their VC?
or could there be another assassin out there?

I'm hoping there are two. If there's only one NKs will be completely random. That is only fun for the assassin. And Shin. TDMI 8
2 means they're hunting each other and we're fairly safe for our culture hunt.

you gunning for assassins from beginning of the game
And the fact that you have been on all lynch trains can only show 2 things :
1.you are independent and have a VC for killing assassins .(In which case I say we ignore all your posts and leave you alone)
2.you know all members of your faction.(which I don't think is possible, but if it is possible it means you are pretty important and we should lynch you)
I think saying that I have been gunning for assassins since the beginning of the game is a little bit of an assumption. Yes, at the beginning I was happy to go for an assassin, it was a safe vote until we had more information on thread to draw from. Then with Mockra, I had no idea that he was an assassin, I thought he was connected to Galain as it seemed to me like Galain was trying (albeit clumsily) to pull attention away from him, so I had tied them together as a faction. I was just as surprised as anyone else when he CF'd assassin, and that put my assumptions about Galain somewhere else. And as for Galain, I don't think anyone really had to try hard to lynch him, he did a very poor job of defending himself against anyone's accusations, so I just didn't know what to think and thus followed the train to its most likely destination. That being said, Galain was right from Day 1 about Korbas. Not sure what, if anything, that says.
The connection I got from Karosis, I think, is a good one, and heck, you agreed with it and are just being, in your words, obnoxious, in disagreeing with me. You have been trying to paint me as an assassin from basically Day 1 for doing the same thing any of the other active players were doing, and I think your telling people outright to fuck off does nothing for anyone's game, and just makes you seem petty and angry that no one will listen to you. I also think it's possible that you're just being a jerk to me so that you don't have to vote Karosis, who may be part of your team, a suspicion that Mockra had on Day 1. So, all that to say that I currently would like to see Karosis go as I think he's the most likely attachment to Galain, but I would certainly not mind seeing you go, you've done next to nothing to actually add to the game.

It's possible. There's nothing in the OP saying whether or not the assassins would remain in game once they reach their VCs, nor if it would be announced on thread. But I don't think it's safe to assume that there is only one assassin left out there. The Korbas already being dead thing confuses me a bit too.

Well, the scene mentions Captains, their seconds, and a page. That could be three of the roles, with the Captain being at the top, but if the game is indeed set up with 3 factions of 4 people, that leaves one role unaccounted for. Could be a leader, could be that Eloth was indeed a part of a clan (though I doubt this more considering it was clear that Galain was Ouchi captain) and the fourth role is agent. Could be that the second and page were just in there for flavour and aren't even roles. For now, I think we need to connect people to Galain and try to clear out some more Ouchi clan members to see what other roles there might be, assuming that all 3 factions have the same roles like they did in Sengoku 2.

"I spoke my mind, and I dont need to answer to you. What I have done is honorable, and my intentions have been clear."
Galain (Khell) is dead. He was Yoshiuki, Captain of the Ouchi clan.
It is now night.

you gunning for assassins from beginning of the game
I believe the first italic , believe me . I do , for real .
about the second one , You asked me a question , I answered it truthfully and I didn't ask anyone for comments , so they should have just fucked off.
At least I have clear intentions. I want to keep the thread from being led by an assassin.
