This seems to have been an odd day. I'm not quite sure what to make of everything, just yet. I'm thinking Spite would be my choice, at the moment. He went overly defensive, and kept repeating the fact that he'd look at those not voting for Galain, as if trying to deflect attention away from his initial hesitancy to vote Galain. The other cases of D'riss, Karosis, and Osseric, I'd lean closest to Osseric of those 3.
I guess everyone is waiting until last minute on this vote, so for now I'm voting Spite, but will change if needed.

I wasn't being defensive, I was getting annoyed from answering the same question thrice. I always liked Galain from the way he was acting, but there were lots of hours on the clock and I wanted alternatives before settling.
Anyways, it makes no sense for people to intentionally vote off a team member in a faction game. According to the op "Each member of a faction knows their leader.", which would mean that if anyone on Galain's team voted for him, they knowingly voted off their own leader.

Yeah, I've got to say, it's pretty disappointing to see us so far through the day with only three votes. I hope there are going to be enough people around at the end of the day to get a lynch.
Continuing on the culture hunt theme, here are my suspects for the Ouchi faction:
Those who provided alternatives to the Galain lynch; D'riss suggested we should continue to look for assassins, Emurlahn attacks Liosan for low-posting, Osseric jumps on the Lio train, and Spite votes Karosis. Significantly, Osseric jumps on the Lio train, which he attributes the beginning of to Korvalain, when it was in actual fact Emur who started it. However, today Osseric is doing everything he can to distance himself from Korvalain, to the point where he is being needlessly confrontational. Spite's vote is also significant, in particular for it's timing. However, I think his reaction has been blown out of proportion by some people, and I'm prepared to reserve judement on him for now.
Those who didn't vote for Galain; Liosan, Osseric, Karosis and Sorrit. Osseric's vote was elsewhere. I'm inclined to believe Karosis, his point that there were 12 hours still in the day was a good one. I'd like to hear from Lio as to why he never commented at all on the case for Galain, instead wasting his time questioning things that had already been comprehensively covered. Sorrit wasn't around towards the end of the day, but when he was he restricted his discussion to assassin and recruiting mechanics. In my opinion, he is more likely to be an independent than a faction member, his conversation shows no interest whatsoever in the faction struggles.
It also struck me as slightly suspicious the speed at which Olar Ethil jumped on Spite's comment about knowing his place in the game. Could just be someone looking for connections to Galain, but in that case why not also question Emurlahn and Osseric for their votes on Lio, which were based on a flimsy low-poster case?
At this stage I think Osseric is our best bet. He didn't vote for Galain, he jumped on the first alternative case offered, even though it was a rubbish low-poster case, and his interactions with Korvalain are important, and will provide us with useful information.

I did an advanced search for your posts. Used 18 Sept as the start date. Listed as posts instead of topics.
All your posts are vague. No hint of "I don't think X is in my faction" type posts. Which could be simply really good play. Or it could be you don't have a faction.
And everybody keeps saying Eloth is a recruiter. Doesn't a recruiter imply recruits? We focused on the Korosis comment about unaligned and general assassins. We never considered that there might be non assassin recrutitables.
And, ironically, if I,m right you're not currently worth bothering with. (Here come the you're symping accusations.)
bolded the part im answering
Why would I say who I think im linked to? if im right it tells everyone whose side im on making a culture hunt even easier, and it wouldnt help me in the slightest
But I tell you what, i dont think im in your faction D'riss....
The reason we are not worried about recruits is because the recruiter died on day one. I dont think there would of been two recruiters in a game this size with all the other factions and assassins going on.
----------------------------------------
im tempted to vote for osseric but its more because of his spat before than anything else, and thats not enough for me to vote for him right now

I think for now im going to lay my vote on D'riss for a few reasons, but mainly because he keeps shouting rubbish at the moment.

This is not that uncommon though. If you know your leader is going down it makes sense to vote for them, to distance yourself from them and try to protect your faction. I wouldn't rule out many people from the lynch train. Fener cast the first vote, so he is probably not Ouchi, and I doubt Meanas is Ouchi since even to distance hammering your leader seems a bit extreme. But for the rest of them, voting is one way to protect yourself from being connected, and it's somewhat safe if it looks like your leader is going down anyway. Yesterday it became pretty obvious that there weren't many viable alternatives, and so I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least one Ouchi on the train.

You conveniently snipped out why I initially voted Osseric, he didn't vote Galain, countless fluff posts and his 'spat' with Korv. Making connections based on who votes and who doesn't IS a viable method of identifying team members. It worked quite well when we rooted out all the fomorians in the Dresden game.

Mmhmm. You voted for Lio "For pressure reasons". Sure. Because when faced with the choice between a reasonable case and a low-poster hunt it's simply LOGIC to go for the lynch that will net you exactly no links to factions nor any indication of where to hunt next.

But it is the underlined that is particularly significant here. You say that Korv brought up the issue with Lio, when it was clearly Emurlahn who started the train, and Korbas who brought it up in the first place. And yet, today you say you are deliberately refraining from voting for someone simply because Korvalain brought it up first.
As for information, well my main hope is that your lynch will shed some light on your interactions with Korvalain, and possibly explain why your attitude towards him changed so dramatically. It could also give us some information on the alignments of Karosis and Liosan, through your votes on them, depending on what your role is.

I did no such thing. I simply stepped back to so that I wasn't 'leading the thread' like you accused me of. I wanted to see where things were going, but I still made it very clear that Karosis was my number one Ouchi clan suspect in nearly every post I made.
I think you had the argument with me yesterday then voted where I was gonna vote to make it seem like we were attached and that you're distancing from me. That way if you get lynched, people will look at me next, and I think it's sneaky. I would have put my vote on Karosis, gladly, but your sneakiness needs to be nipped in the bud, if you ask me.

So the thing that gets me is that Osseric spent what like three hours arguing over him thinking that I am an assassin and that he won't do what I am doing and no one else should. Then he votes for the person I made a case against. Sneaky Osseric.

you abandoned it ; meaning weren't very sure about him . So there is a fair chance he is not an assassin.

I was obviously trying to find something on Korv . the less obvious part is that I had a reading fail .
