Mafia 89.75: Happy Never After

The main case against me is that I have been a little all over the place. I have refuted Shelly's case as best I can see how. I don't think I have been all over the place, on Day 1, I put pressure on Rashan, got a reaction I was happy with and put my vote on the lynch train. On Day 2, I put my vote on Atrahal for flip flopping between Tellan and Emu, then when I came back and it was close to lynch time, not having had a chance to play for the end of the day much, I put my vote on the likely lynch train. I realized at the time it was a little scummy, and I understand that it was, but realistically, there was nothing I could do about it. I don't believe in NOT voting, that only lets scum get by. Osseric had already pinged on my scumdar that day, which I had mentioned when I was analyzing the Emu lynch train, so it wasn't like I was voting out of far left field.
The thing is, when I took the time to reread Atrahal's posts, it seems to me like he was the one who was a little all over the place... As noted above, he was flip-flopping between Tellan on Day 1. Then, on Day 2, he makes a case against Eloth, and then another case against Sheltatha Lore. He spends some time pushing his cases against Eloth, and Shelly, but as soon as Osseric puts a vote on Tellan he moves back to his Day 1 lynch, but not without agreeing with Osseric that Sorrit is being suspicious. He even calls Tellan out on misunderstanding what are pretty simple game mechanics (wonders how Tellan could assume there are three scum, when it's standard to have 2 killers and a symp in this type of game). He eventually ends up voting for Osseric, and otherwise plays the helpful townie. I think if we're voting for someone who is 'all over the place,' I would say it's Atrahal. Throws a bunch of different cases up, but votes safely, not to cause any waves.
So, for that reason, my vote goes back to him.

Are you saying you would refuse to vote Rashan, though? I can understand your trepidation for Atrahal, and your vote. If it was a group effort, I could vote for Atrahal, possibly.
But can you vote for Rashan?

Time is going to time out at about 8 am EST, 7 am, central, and 5 am, pacific. I tho k we have about 7.5 hours, so many won't be online so early US time. We should try to get this ball rolling. I can't do it talking to myself.

Hey guys sorry I've been away for so long. The last day finished while I was asleep, and I had an 8 hour drive after that and spent the rest of the weekend heaving my guts out and wishing for death, and been frantically trying to finish an assignment that was due a week ago. I sent a message to Mott telling her what was up but forgot to leave a message on thread. It's totally understandable wanting to lynch off a useless player at this point, so if you feel the need to I don't really have any grounds to complain at this point. In the meantime I'll do what I can to be less useless.

Make a case for someone, then. I can understand you not being around Day 2 for the Lynch, because neither was I. You, me, and SL didn't vote. SL unvoted, I wasn't online until 3 or 4 hours after Night resolved, and you are saying you were away as well.
Convenient timing, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt ONLY because I was in the same situation Day and Night 2. He could be lying. I could be lying. But if Rashan wasn't around, he either put in an early NK target, or wasn't one of the killers.
I don't get a symp vibe from Rashan. Here's a few hours. You could of just made it easy for us and not responded, but if you're town, then we need another choice. Any options of your own?
There's not that much content to read through, guys.

Just catching up now. I write responses as I read so it takes a little while. Just you and me around then? I hope people are going to turn up soon... Right now I'm still leaning towards Tellen as I have been all the way through. His blustering isn't doing anything for me to make him look less scummy, and for someone who's got a lot of posts and been been under pressure since the end of day one I don't feel like he's contributed much in the way of content. One OMGUS case, and a bunch of bitching and name calling and talking about batman movies? I feel like he's got about as much content as me.

Hey guys, guess what?
There's absolutely nothing I've done to deserve being called scum.
Being suspicious of similar avatar changes is perfectly normal. Voting for emurlahn with no other option is perfectly fine. I haven't been low posting, I've been providing opinions.
On top of that, I didn't "push for a lynch" with so much time left, I pushed for a discussion of who to lynch. There were actually no options. It was Emurlahn or one of the ducks, if I remember, and no one was discussion.
This is fucking pathetic. The only reason anyone is voting me is because you're all too lazy to make a case, and for some odd reason you're listening to Osseric.
The one post by Sorrit is the only thing any good I've seen against me, and I can't do anything about that since I didn't post it. If I do get lynched, when I come up inno, consider Sorrit either fucking retarded town or somewhat clever (compared to the rest of you, atleast) scum.
The only thing I'm seeing here is that Osseric is pushing my lynch, and the rest are too lazy to go back and actually look at my posts to see that none of it is true (beside the Sorrit post). Osseric low posted his way through day 1, and is now trying to get an inno lynched with no backup on day 2, where actual evidence can be compiled.

Won't let me bold..

Are you kidding me? I didn't catch this the first read through. You're pressing my buttons. Don't blame me for you getting yourself lynched, IF it comes. I defended you, sort of, on just about everything except the whining like a brat. I'm not Gust Hubb, I don't play nice. The post you refer to of me 'supposedly incrimination you,' was linking your spat with Ruse over signalling, and I then followed up with it would be stupid for a killer to do so.
In fact, D'riss was one of our most vocal, and reasonable townies. I thought this was the reason for the second NK. They perhaps wanted to remove the least suspicious player. Yet before your temper-tantrum, D'riss was quite vocal about lynching you. So that's two NK targets that can be linked in some way to you.
I have been operating under the assumption that it was possible you were being sort of set up by the NKs, thus my hesitancy to Lynch dat ass. You bring my name into your 'crap' though, and I'll play your game back. Now I've already said that I doubted you as one of the killers, a symp maybe, but for the most part I've left you alone.
Choose your next words wisely. They may be your last. Remake a case, I don't care if it's flashing in bold at the top of this page.

Unless there's something really glaringly standing out to me, I'm not going to put forward anyone new at this point, because we've got 6 hours left and no one around, and fairly spread out voting as it is. So I'm going to look at what other people are doing for now.

Because I don't know for sure. If I nail scum or symp, even if we don't know he's the symp right away, it'll give us another day. Are you seriously wondering or are you defending Tennes? I'm not going to automatically assume you're both scum if you defend him. I'm just wondering.

Yes to both I guess? Tennes hasn't struck me as particularly scummy, he posts good content posts and he posts often. I like the stuff he did on Tellen earlier today, and I thought Tellen's replies to that were weak. Besides, symp hunting isn't generally productive, as having them around can help point to scum, and we don't know if we've succeeded or not so we can't factor it in at all. Much better to look for killers than symps.
Also if you automatically assumed we were both scum because of that I'd laugh at you, so that addition was not necessary.
Edit: is to isn't

I think I'm going to go with this
Vote Tellen
The only thing I don't like about is that Osseric and D'riss were both supposedly scum according to Tellen and died the same night. It could be a set up, or it could be set up to look like a setup and WIFOM makes my head hurt. The other thing I don't like is that for two nights running now we've had someone come in at the last minute and attempt to get someone else lynched, and last night it worked rather well, and to our detriment.
So I'll be around on thread to discuss. My second preferred lynch option would probably be Lio, partly because I'm fairly convinced by Tennes at this point and partly because of the above mentioned attempted/succeed speedlynch shenanigans which for some reason I associate with Liosan, but I'll need to go and double check that if I time to.

So you won't vote for him. Fair enough. As for above when I said I wouldn't call you both scum for defending him, it was a valid statement. As it happens all the time. So, yeah, I felt it was needed.
One other thing about Tellan that stands out, is that he kept saying when I CF innocent. The symp, if we have one, will CF innocent. That's not saying anything to us. I'd be quite happy with nailing a symp. That's one huge vote in the end. I guess we can not Lynch Tennes, and just Lynch you.

I only have a few minutes to post, but I'll be back before timeout to read back properly.
In terms of what Lio is saying against me, I find it laughable that he can say he is happy to add to a lynch train to get a lynch, but finds me suspicious for doing the same. If I was switching my vote around a lot I could understand his suspicion, but I haven't been doing that at all.
Since yesterday I have had the feeling that Eloth is an innocent newbie, but it's true that his actions are looking a little strange.
I need to go back and look at my own actions and other people's during the last lynch, as I think that will give us a lot of info, but I don't have time to do it now. See you all in a few hours...

Not hardly ,Rashan. Just ruffling your pretty feathers, my good man.
I haven't confirmed this, but from my written notes, which I could have gotten wrong -
On both Lynch trains: Kaschan, Eloth, Tellan, Liosan
Neither Lynch train: Tennes
This was NOT a back-up for my Tennes vote. I'm trying to feel people out. I'll give him his defense.
Just thought I'd take a look at both Lynch trains, and see if anything stood out. It's still WIFOM territory, but can't hurt to shelved it.

Yeah, normally I'd be on the lynch train but I couldn't follow Tellan on the last one and I didn't agree with Emurlahn, I agree we need to lynch and if it was necessary I would of voted rather than let it timeout without a lynch but if I was not needed to get the lynch that I disagreed with then I wasn't voting that way.
I can see why you would look at me for it, I can also see why people are looking at other people today so I'll cool my Tellan hate for now and see what else stands out. The way you have stormed the thread since coming back is applauded by me, I felt a lone candle in the darkest night yesterday when posting. I had people like Eloth with their puny one liners and Tellan whom I have no love of this game. On the other hand it could be construed as a symp directing the thread elsewhere, i'll be wary of that. Just catching up, I read before that you asked me a question but I was on my phone and wanted to wait until I got to work...

Whilst i'm looking for the question i'll bring some of the theme back into the game
While the candlelight's still glowing
Let us help you, We'll keep going
Course by course, one by one
'Til you shout, "Enough! I'm done!"
Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest
Tonight you'll prop your feet up
But for now, let's eat up
Be our guest!
