Was it you, Korabas? I know you were suspicious of me. Maybe you're the finder, and want others to know my alignment? Your slightly unnatural responses to Atrahal were suspicious as well. IGMEOY

Guess it's not Korabas as his info is now up.

Ok - this brings us down to Alkend, Anthras, Tiamatha, and Kessobahn as the bastards selling information on others, correct? I'm willing to lynch any of these :(

Edit: Galayn Lord and Okaros, too.

Interesting perspective...it's possible that a Finder listed his own info for sale to keep himself off that list, but if it included his night action, it would probably hurt him more than help. If has a day find, it's a perfect cover.

Also...could be someone like Korlat or Barghast. Both have only had their faction information listed, which reveals much less than a night action and titles do, so they could be listing it themselves as a diversion.

It's possible, but I think it's likelier that they're the victims of a different type of (more limited) finder. At the moment there are still a fair few un-investigated, so I don't see it as likely that finders would be considering putting their own info up as yet.

Unless they're REALLY short of money ;)

I wonder who has been buying all the info, as they have the advantage informationally over the rest of us, though there are probably a few of those who have been buying the information regularly.

Information's no good if you're not willing to use it. Whoever has bought has been unwilling to push with their knowledge on thread. The only ones I can remember who have been put under any minor pressure out of the ones who've had info on them put up for sale are Korlat and Merrid.

Just dropping in briefly before I head to bed. Another title gone already? That's pretty speedy!

I was interested by that battle scene. The Nepeth are the ones I would expect to have battle actions, but it doesn't sound like that's what happened. Sounds to me as though the Djinn destroyed quite a few retainers instead. I counted at least 4: a hooker, a caravan, a tax collector and an ox cart/group of teamsters? Also, I think it described the one who controlled the Djinn too - the money ended up in the lap of a blind beggar (unless that symbolizes the money being lost, perhaps?). Anyhow, fun stuff to analyze.

Bazaar action seems to have been pretty heated too! Lots of red lines about the place. Seems pretty calm at the moment though, haven't seen anything being put on in the half hour I've been here for. Some more players with info being sold. Join the club, Barghast! And I'm sure Korabas will be similarly displeased when he finds out too.

Yeah, I agree with all of that. Probably the case.

Well, I have to call the game.

Korlat, Daughter of Mishap, purchases the Confectioner's Title.

Please do not go around deleting PMs straightaway. I'd prefer to slowly empty the alts 1 by 1 myself and filling SH.

The victorious team gets to divide the remaining titles between them, as well as elect one of their own as Defterdar:

Defterdar
Unique title. Cannot be sold except by the mod
Day phase only. Pay 2 Politics. Produce 500 dinari for each alt that started the game, or 1000 dinari for each player currently alive, whichever is the lower amount of dinari.

The winning team consists of:

Anthras (Huassan ibn Qolat) - JLV
Omtose (Fatima Nun) - Khell
Kessobahn (Teppan Sush) - Tattersail
Korabas (Gemüsh Güsu) - The Dude
Korlat (Daughter of Mishap) - Sir Thursday

I'm sorry that the outcome turned out to be 5-1. I had expected the Grand Alliance to do better during design, but it turns out that the Thief title was nowhere near as strong as I had expected it to be, and the cut role (a Thief that would have been really good at manipulating the market, but needing insane amounts of Paper and Scribes for that) might have made more of a difference than I expected. Perhaps I should have put that one in, and remove one of the sneaky-sneak thieves, but his was the one with the most outlandish good requirements and was therefore the one I cut. Likewise, a lot of a Mage's power lies in their djinn, giving them good support actions as well as extra actions per day, but only Liz (GL) managed to summon hers in time, so I may need cost adjustments there, too.

Finally, I clearly underestimated the market mechanisms and the bonuses granted by certain titles, as well as the speed of those roles.

I hope you guys had fun!

Password to SH (contains day 1 info only as of yet): remorse

SH also doesn't contain upgrades.

FINALLY, IMPORTANT REQUEST: PLEASE DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DELETE THE STORAGE AND ROLE THREADS.

I'll need those to copy/paste into the role PM section of the Game Development forum.

Cheers

- T.

I think we should have lynched each day or at least tried to. That leaves HoA with a full strength faction and only one title to purchase, do we know if they lose them if they are lynched? I cannot believe we didn't get the numbers yesterday, we've only had one night kill and that went horribly wrong. So what are we going to do today? Let day timeout again or get our act together?

The dinari are yours as the game was over before your purchase.

It is up to you and the other victors to decide on a split of

Bostanji-Bashi (head gardener – Courtly Title): 30000 dinari
Bostanji-Bashi grants the following ability:
Maintaining the Public Parks
Phase: Dawn only. Cost: 1000 dinari.
Produce 4 Mud, 2 Water and 2 Wood in addition to your regular Surroundings production.

Kanuni-Bashi (Chief Legislator – Courtly Title): 30000 dinari
Kanuni-Bashi grants the following ability:
A Question of Legality.
Phase: Day only. Cost: 2000 dinari, 1 Paper, 1 Politics.
Each day, target a player. Any abilities granted by his Titles cannot be used for this day + night cycle.

Kapuji-bashi (Head Gatekeeper – Courtly Title): 30000 dinari
Kapuji-Bashi grants the following ability:
Close the Main Gate
Phase: Night only. Cost: 4000 dinari.
Target a player. He is excluded from Madeena al-Salaam and cannot make purchases or offer goods for sale on the next dawn + day phases.

Day phase only. Pay 2 Politics. Produce 500 dinari for each alt that started the game, or 1000 dinari for each player currently alive, whichever is the lower amount of dinari.

I'd suggest you'll do it in a PM conversation or here on thread, but I'll need a majority of players to agree with the division.

Yeah, your role was perhaps an even bigger moneymaker than Anthras' and Kesso's. Impressive play there!

Well: 3 water/ cycle
Storage: 3 metal, 1 Paper, 1 Slave, 6 Gemstones, 5 water, 3 magic

I'd have had a title plus 17000 minimum by the end of the day, i could've converted those gemstones into jewellery knowing that sold.
