By the way Kesso, Korlat targetted you for assassination last night - how come he didn't kill you? ^_^

Life Points? Guarded? I'm unsure to be honest. That would have been bad cause I already had one title :-D

My first thought was to try and produce and sell, but after I got robbed (and then saw my information for sale) I figured my only chance was to build and maybe help teammates with my ability so I gave up on making money entirely.

Basically, I had no strategy and was only reacting to stuff half-assedly because I only had a rudimentary understanding of what was going on.

Next time I will only play Tap's game if I have time to dedicate to it.

Yeah, your role was all about working the market 24/7, you had so much stuff to buy and sell. In some ways, you were my opposite, a major seller while I was entirely reliant on buying everything from the market....and I spent ridiculous amounts of hours constantly refreshing the bazaar - it was the only way I could be successful in my role.

I'm actually surprised your role wasn't more Battle-related. Finding out who you were motivated me into buying that Gemstudded Armour ^_^

Did you have the 'can't be assassinated' title perhaps?

Yeah, we discussed whether he should go after you because you were talking about people being HoA all the time. We considered whether it was a double-bluff on your part, but then thought, 'ah fuck it, even if it's wrong hopefully he's got the anti-assassination title' :D

Notice how much quieter and anassuming I was in this game - yeah, that was a direct result of you bastards lynching me for talking in the last game ^_^

Korlat was guarded by GL.

What I'm surprised about is that no one who bought your faction info, ST, came out on thread with it. Why was that?

Simply saying 'hey, I bought Korlat's info and he's a Night Prophet mystery faction' would have got you lynched.

The Kumpal role was part design mistake, not so much as bad design (although it had faults) but also because I hadn't predicted the average good price to be around 1500 dinari instead of between 500 and 1000. I had figured that quite a few goods would sell for 500, and that would make the Beggar title a marvellous tool to leech small amounts of money once per phase: buy yourself silly until you hit 0, beggar, buy another good, beg again at dusk.

For cash, he'd initially be very much about selling that Heal. There would be a market for it once kills were taking place.

Threefinger was a fun bit-player but it has severe exploitability - if you had time. Essentially, it was going to be all about acquiring as many goods as you can in quantities of 3, having them all hit 4 with All good things come in threes, then roaming off the top layer and selling it, so you have 3 again.

Example: 3 slaves becomes 4, sell 1. once the deal has been sealed and you have the money, the quantity is 3 again, so you produce a fourth. It is not very impressive when you have only 2-4 goods that you can abuse that way, as it amounts to only 1000 to 2000 dinari each day/night cycle, a bit depending on how much you're around, but do it over the width of the market with 10 different goods, and well..... decent pickings there with goods appearing out of thin air.

the market theft of that role was to support in this by building up as many different goods as you can, as well as driving prices up. If there are only 3 scribes on the market, you steal them all, then offer 1 back at the same price, you have acquired a production chain in a rare good that provides only a trickle to the market.

So anyways, let's talk winners ( ^_^ )

I put my hand up for:

- Bostanji-Bashi, because I don't produce any basic resources, so the Wood and Mud thing would be useful.

- Defterdar, because my character has the ability to produce Politics, and so has a viable way of enabling the Defterdar action.

Example: 3 slaves becomes 4, sell 1. once the deal has been sealed and you have the money, the quantity is 3 again, so you produce a fourth. The market still had some issues. Not the system itself, but the way it was used. Fewer and fewer were buying goods, and more and more were buying information only. And yet the price of goods refused to come down, which is what I found incredulous. Goods weren't selling, and yet no one was lowering prices. Yes, that and the info contracts annoyed me ^_^

I want at least one of the remaining titles not too bothered which to be honest. Chances are we won't get the same character/role again

Yeah.

I'll probably set up 3 standard contracts for 1.0, which are available to all to use (1 offering a discount on a good transaction, the other two either offering your abilities/ vote for sale, or requesting a vote or type of ability on another player), and any different contracts will be role included and the result of abilities, limiting them to once per phase. That prevents information reselling, information spam and protects value of money of such contracts, as well as their frequency.

I suspect it was because there was a scene that implied I was on one of the teams, so people were a bit reluctant. But I mean, people had my information from Day 1 and could easily have pushed a lynch then before they saw that message. So yeah...I got a bit lucky, I think.

Re: Titles. Bostanji-Bashi is the only one that makes any sense for my character, as she has better things to do with her other phases (like finding people and then killing them). I'm just pleased I got Helvaji-Bashi to be honest, I thought that would be one of the first ones that would go.

Helvaji-Bashi's rubbish ^_^

By the way, who got the title that gave you access to every other title? Was it Tattersail/Kesso? Did you feel overwhelmed by it? :D

I guess if you've got another way of getting information about players, it's not such a big deal. It does pretty much eliminate the one problem that an assassin has in one swell foop though (lack of knowledge about who to target).

Well I could've spent money upgrading/using abilities but I didn't want to. I only used the theft action once on Korlat and got targeted by Venge for doing so, I would've had to post in pictures all day today unless I paid the money back!!!
