I still have to get my wife to vote on her phone.

Haha I had no idea this thing existed, just spent a few hours reading through past matches etc. Awesome.

My immediate thought was....

This is retarded. There's no way Moraine could take Rake. Moraine isn't anywhere NEAR as powerful as even her own colleagues. People who don't know both characters shouldn't vote. It shouldn't be a popularity contest.
Anyway. At least Quick Ben won it all last year.
Does anyone know the quote from Anomander from Toll the Hounds that says something like those of us who fought and failed, fought and fell, means its those of us who lived. Something like that. I think it was at the beginning of one of the last couple chapters as a quote before the chapter started. We should fins that quote and go post it on their website near the tread of his defeat. And we should all write something under it sort of honoring the fallen. Sort of like a funeral march outside of Darjustan if u will.

Gonna actually repost this in its own thread.

This is retarded. There's no way Moraine could take Rake. I've read every Wheel of Time book out. All 12 or so. And I'm a HUGE WOT FAN. I have to even rank WoT up with Malazan as the.two beat series of my life. And I've read almost every fantasy book in existence.
Moraine isn't anywhere NEAR as powerful as even her own colleagues. She's more of a thinker and organizer. She's not even from the green Ajah, which ie the color for the battle Ajah. People who don't know both characters shouldn't vote. It shouldn't be a popularity contest. Anyway.
At least Quick Ben won it all last year.

Anyone who's read at least up through TtHs knows Rake is the man.

I'm trying not to use a spoiler. There's a quote at the very beginning of one of the chapters of TtHs. Usually its a poem by Fisher. But this is one by Rake himself that talks about death equating to a life lived.
I just think it would be extremely nerdy, I mean cool to post that quote on their website about his defeat by Moraine. Which would never happen.
Someone find the quote for me. Well go from there.

well at the end of the day it was a popularity contest... there was also no way Morraine would have won against Kylar .... until the troops were called by the publishers from their websites and the multitude of lost sheep followed and the end was upon the rest of the field.

May I ask how you think QB won, last year?
