I didn't say anything! It was only a question! OK...I implied stuff but it's not like I said that some of us repeatedly voted for Zaphod just because we thought it would be fun to see how far we could get hi— oh shit!
The love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.

I am starting to think that Brandon requested the IP restrictions both this year and last year. This year, it happened right after Rothfuss lost (Brandon loves Rothfuss), and just in time for Moiraine vs Kelsier. And I said something on Twitter like "Part of me thinks Moiraine vs Kelsier will be clean. But part of me hopes it won't be, since I do like underdogs." Last year they put the IP restriction on during the final, if I recall correctly. We got a lot of votes in before they cut it off, and when they did, we had a nearly-insurmountable lead. Even a Brandon tweet didn't save her.

Out of curiosity, Brujah, are you a crazy person? Just wondering, not an insult, I know several crazy persons with whom I'm on good terms. If so, welcome to the board!
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Most often, crazy people are not aware that they are crazy. So the answer is "No, I dont believe so," either way.
So as for ME being crazy? No, I don't believe so.
And thanks for the welcome.

There was barely a round in the match that he wouldn't have lost if it hadn't been for us.
The WoT fans were voting for Vin because they didn't want us to win. We cheated the shit out of the round and won purely by the effort and persistence of a small group of us. QB wouldn't have won otherwise and Rake lost because we were, quite simply, outnumbered.
How do you think Zaphod Beeblebrox got through the first few rounds?
Oh, ok. I see. Some of Quick Ben's fights are against characters from books I havent read, yet.
And here I thought I had read most fantasy books. I think I'll actually check out a few of these unknown to me.
But that'll have to wait. Ive only just finished Toll the Hounds, and I was wanting to read Stoneweilder next, but fucking Books-a-Million dont carry any of ICE's books. As for ICE, Ive read NoKs and RotCG, and was wanting to read Stoneweilder next so I could then read DoD and CG back to back. But no ICE, so I grabbed Dust of Dreams. Ill probably read a bit of DoD then hit Barnes and Noble today when they open and grab SW.
I'm also thinking that having just finished Toll the Hounds, right about the time of this match between Rake and Moraine, added to my over zealous defendings of Rake on the forums. So without any spoilers, those of you know what Rake does at the end of Hounds is rather inspiring. And I just believe that Rake deserved to win if ANYONE ever deserved to win ANY match in the history of matches.
Thats why I added my own explanation for as to how in Hood's Balls, Moraine was ever able to beat Rake a few posts back.

Seems like there would be more love for Rake from this forum. Not really sensing it.
Maybe for me its because I just finished TtHs and the ending is of course amazing.
And without any spoilers its a huge Rake focus. Perhaps he's not as awesome as I think from not having read the last two books.
So by only using the story up thru TtH, if Rake isn't the most awesome char in the series for u, then who is?
And show Rake some love the rest of u .

I don't think it's a matter of Rake's awesomeness, rather your unhealthy obsession with a popularity contest of which, no matter how hard you try, you can't change the outcome because it ended several weeks ago...
It makes you look crazy.
It makes you look crazy.
