Not much happening while I was gone. I'm happy with my vote for the moment. While I see alkends point, that scum are usually more reserved than Karosis has displayed this game, I don't find that to be an arument that should be whole relied upon. As Olar points out, generally the player dictates how a certain role will be played. Not vice versa. I am not so sold on my vote that I wouldn't be willing to switch in order to get a lynch. But at the present time, I am happy with my vote. i'll only be checking in every 2 hrs or so from here on out as i come available. I'm very busy tonight, but i'll do my best to check in and hopefully, but not likely be able to be on right before deadline.
I'm not arguing that players suddenly change completely how they play when they get a certain role. Thread leaders will still be thread leaders, low posters will low post, etc. I'm saying that the content of those posts might subtly change. Look over any game and I bet you will often find that some of the most sensible-sounding or careful posts will have been written by a member of the scum team. As I already said a few times, that's in general, not always. I'm not describing here a 100% fool-proof thing, nowhere near, but I do believe it's a viable strategy to employ when looking for scum, ESPECIALLY early on in the game when scum don't tend to get involved as much as they do closer to endgame.
And as I already said to Rashan, everyone can go about their own way of doing things, I was simply giving my explanation for why I think I probably wouldn't vote Karosis today.
Of course, if it came down to it and Karosis is the only viable lynch, I will switch. I just wouldn't be confident.
