Unfortunately the IRS commissioner and IRS legal counsel are both involved in Trump's businesses in one way or another. If there's any way to prevent his returns from being released I imagine they're motivated to find it.

To be clear, the reasons she opposed this is because of the hit to her professional reputation the last round elicited, not because she fundamentally opposed child concentration camps or the systematic destruction of family units (they didn't actually stop child separation). The DOJ wants years to bother reuniting the kids they've already stolen, which speaks both to the volume of kids they took, and the lack of urgency -- to put it mildly -- in repairing the evils they've done to these families.
