Nothing can be 100% divorced from USA politics in this era of globalization, but don't underestimate the difference between us. Much like when Michael Zehaf-Bibeau killed Nathan Cirillo and attacked Parliament Hill in 2014, we will react calmly. We will mourn the victims, decry the hatred which lead to this event, and give our sympathy to the loved ones of those who passed. Afterwards, we will question what new precautions, if any, we could take to prevent this tragedy from happening again, and make whatever efforts are necessary to reassure the world that this is still a safe place to come to, that you are still welcome here. The more I've been scanning various things the more it seems this Muslim ban is a bit of a smokescreen for what Trump did with Bannon and the other NSC staff. Like, they want everyone to get enrages because they can do other stuff undetected. I dunno I'm reading a lot of different opinions ATM.

This was one of his signature campaign promises though - it's what a part of his base literally elected him to come and do. I don't see the White House getting out this policy immediately as a scheme to get Bannon on the NSC - it's too small an issue. It's a news story for a few days, then the next thing happens, and nobody cares anymore. Done. Dusted.

Depends on where in America you are looking for average. If it is in the south then he is probably right on Q if it is in the northeast/Big cities or West Coast then He is a crazy neonazi who should be kept as far from power as possible. Not sure its loyalty. At best its says he is so paranoid that he does not trust the very government agency built for his protection. Who better to protect him than the secret service?

At worse it has a very ominous connotation. Without being too alarmist it sounds almost like brown/black shirt nonsesne. I googled it and I see they often took it int their own hands to disperse protesters ad such during his campaign rallies.
