Quick question, US population for adults is 245ish, so with current vote of 70m for Biden and 67m for Trunp, where is the other 100m?

Thinking about it that's about a 60% turnout which isn't dramatically off democratic norms. I guess I got skewed by the sheer numbers of Americans.

Was winsconsin called? I haven’t seen it.
I think it was and Trump about 4 seconds later demanded a recount. Put on your surprised face.

I keep watching the live coverage for the latest news even though I know we won't really know anything for certain before tomorrow. I'm amazed at how good these journalists are at spinning their wheels.

Don't give me hope! My heart can't take it!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

if 20K for Wisconsin is enough, surely we can put Michigan to bed with 32 37K difference?
Then we can all just wait for Nevada tomorrow morning to make it official.

I still can't believe more people voted for Trump this year than in 2016...
The last four years was a total shit show and yet he still gets more support... madness!

I am utterly (pleasantly) surprised there seems to be enough people with common sense to vote him out.

Wow Jaime Harrison raised beaucoup $$. That's got to be a horrible feeling to lose to "overcome by the vapors, southern belle". Saw parts of his concession speech. He's a class act.

There were a lot of polling misses, but I think it's hard to argue that the Bradley Effect wasn't at play in some of the southern states this cycle. It got Jamie Harrison, but we saw it even with Mike Espy in MS who never really had much of a chance; there was a big disparity in polling between his race and the presidential election in MS, and that disparity almost disappeared in the end.

As has been true in every state so far, Biden's numbers swing hard upwards when counting mail-in ballots. It's why a lot of people are pretty sure that Biden has MI, NV, and AZ, but we'll have to wait it out.
We are watching Trump's lead in PA tick down extremely fast every time they update their mail in numbers, if they keep going at this rate Biden might actually win PA as well, as a number of people were suggesting this morning.
But holy fuck is it hard to believe anything 'projected' at this point...

There are other things in play, continued election bullshit in GA, Florida GOP refusing to re-enfranchise up to 1.4 million felons, and the subtle whisper of 'Socialism' to scare cuban-americans with horror stories of their parents losing it all.
Lets be honest, there were a lot of misses from Joe and his campaign, and honestly he doesn't inspire much of anyone. I really think this election was decided more on love/hate Donald Trump than anything else, and that wont work for Dems in 2022 or 2024 if Trump isn't around.
The Pelosi/Schumer and their ilk really do need to retire, and stop trying to appeal to 'conservative voters who are left behind by the GOP moving further right'. That still doesn't fucking work, because all those voters are sprinting towards fascism with them. This election pretty obviously proves it, since both candidates put up crazy high numbers, and it has the highest participation rate since 1900. And it's still this close.

Well.. Trump's still ahead in GA and its very close at 96% reporting, but I believe the majority of the outstanding votes are from the Atlanta metro area, so theres a chance, but I'm not holding my breath.
I really wish Stacey Abrahms hadn't lost in 2018, and I wish SCOTUS hadn't ruled the 1965 Voting Rights Act as 'to old'(which let Stacey's opponent kick over 500,000 people off the eligible voter roll - https://www.apmrepor...records-removed), yet they attempt to adhere to the constitution? Fucking bullshit front to back.
