I'm willing to take Paran for the cover and/or collaborate with someone on it!

But why won't anyone take Hood? is Hood that kid in the playground

maybe everyone is worried that they won't be able to adequately represent the sheer badassitude of the guy

I'm wow-ed and really happy to see the progress of all the characters - it's a great pleasure to witness the birth of both calendars and I can't wait to get both of them in fact! and I agree, Paran gets the cover. good thinking there!
i wish i could draw more than just a straight line....maybe the calendar needs a sort of a filler page between the last page and the hard back cardboard? ;)

but are they worth preserving?

And yes, nacht that is meant to be good ol vengeance. Well the planning for it. According to da book its a long thin blade with a hilt gaurd and simple strappings. The full things in the final version a page back ;).

lol @ just because

Im liking THE GRUNTLEs intense saber cross stance. Also liking how chilled he looks laying down. Kinda feels like that second one should have him looking out into the distance...

Maybe drunk remembering the kccm attack? Also cool photo manip. The setting suits Brys. Your works looking good CN! Cant wait to see what you come up with

NOW In regards to the finished product well i have been thinking of making templates to post up here for free download. I have approached a print and binding company and its relatively cheap. Dont want peoples work to be sold out for free without their legal rights to the work being exploited.

Might have to post the whole thing up via artflakes. Any money made from print downloads can then either be donated to the site or something similar. If anyone working in this disagrees please let me know.

Do we reckon this thing will be ready for a 2012 print run?

ideally it should. Some people work pretty fast and others not so much. Resources, time, health etc. All might be an issue for some of us. We can try suggest a deadline, say late november? This should give people incentive to get on with their part.

Again guys, if this seems like a problem let me know.

Even shortly after the beginning of 2012, heck, even if it's available for the majority of 2012, that would be cool ;)

I haven't seen this description on Cotillion in previous posts. I found it on my re read of Toll the Hounds, Bantam Press TBP page 525 .

From Karsa's meeting with Shadowthrone and Cotillion.

"The bare-headed one was plainly featured, pale as if unfamiliar with sunlight, his dark hair straight and loose, almost ragged. His eyes shifted colour in the sunlight, blue to grey, to green and perhaps even brown,
a cascade of indecision that matched his expression as he in turn studied the Toblakai."

I hope this helps

Off-topic, but this still cracks me up.

The first gesture came from the hooded one with the hidden face, a lifting of the cane in a half hearted waver. 'Nice horse,' he said.
'Easier to ride than a dog,' Karsa replied.
A snort from the dark-haired man.
Sappers have a saying, he muttered. "Wide eyed stupid"

Inspired by Dutchs recent find:

Attached File  cottilionv-1.jpg (54.51K)
Number of downloads: 22

the blue of the rope is very random as are the four moons. it
just felt right to have multiple lights to cast multiple shadows
but If I recall correctly there is no light source in Rashan soooo
I may end up getting rid of them.

The lack of a hood makes Cottilion some what harder to work on.
I'd like to think this makes him hotter? was about to throw in
a huge snarling hound in the back buuut that wouldn't be very
sexy now would it?
