Gust, seriously, the only info the finders get is whether someone is MH or not. That is it. It won't tell him whether the person they've investigated is a finder or not. If they come out not MH, it doesn't mean they're not a symp.

It's post like this that make me suspect you. Gust gave a completely valid suggestion and you shoot him down for it. All Gust is asking is for the other finder to do a find on Tat. If tat dies we know he was lying if not then we know he was telling the truth. The only problem is with it being so close to day being over will the other finder even know to check on Tat tonight or not.

Argh, am I talking to a wall?! A find which does not kill Tat does not automatically find him innocent, because a symp would also not come out as MH.

I don't believe there is a symp. If there is a symp then towns difficult job of killing MH 6 times would be near impossible to do.

Guys, the finders are finder-killers who can only kill one particular target. They have one objective, one focus, and therefore only get info on whether they've found that particular target or not. It's a simple yes/no. Why would it be anything else?

Sure, whatever that's supposed to mean. Listen, I welcome debate and divergent opinions because that's what gets ideas and actions going. I just wish this obstinancy about finders getting more than a yes/no wouldn't become such a consuming issue. It's just sidetracking us away from MH once again I fear. The negatives about a finder reveal already beginning to show themselves.

When I used to play before, there were some players who were seriously good at getting out of a lynch despite massive amounts of attention on them every day. Jump Around comes to mind.

Ok, let's summarise the situation as it stands:

Tattersail has revealed as finder, so far he has found:

Gust Hubb inno
Mentalist inno

So, if we assume that Tat is telling the truth about being a finder, that's 3 out of 12 that we discount as MH. Long ways to go.

However, the second finder, if he also proceeds with the assumption that Tat is telling the truth, can discount these three, plus hopefully another two. Leaving 7 they can still suspect.

Potentially a long ways to go there as well.

We can either 1) Do nothing and wait for the finders, potentiall up to another SEVEN days.
Or 2) We can actually contribute to the effort and not just sit on our hands waiting by deciding upon a lynch.

Well I was hoping for tattersail to have done a find on me to clear me of any doubt. But since that didn't happen we are at this point.

If Tatersail is a true finder (I won't believe it 100% until after the next day) then Tattersail, Gust Hubb and Mentalist are not MH. If the other finder reveals and clears two other player we will now have 6 players cleared. If I'm not one of the cleared players then I will probably need to be lynched just so you can go forward with the game. There is some wiggle room for wrong lynches just not a lot.

If I do get lynched then I suggest that a vote for night goes out so 1 finder puts a find on the remaining 5 players that are still suspects. At this point we want the finders to make our lynch targets more focused not to actualy find and kill MH. So with 1 finder putting a find on the remaining 5 players that will leave town with a 25% chance of lynching the right person on a purely random draw but I think when people start pushing each other between those 4 chances are you will get the right MH. But if they don't I again suggest that the finders don't use anymore finds until MH is lynched. We want to get MH by lynch before we get him by finds if at all possible.

For town to win they can probably survive 2 wrong lynches a couple of times before a MH lynch but it would be better if it was only 1 wrong lynch.
