Yes Tattersail! Well played guys, well played <_< After all that bitter infighting, did you see what won it for us? Love, man, love. A sacred bond between former finders, united by shared kills and shared experiences. They came together like long-lost brothers, unsure of each other for the briefest of moments, before finding the love within themselves reflected in the other, and not even the vile, treacherous, poisonous words of HiddenOne could come between that.

lying about an extra ability, could this help? I'm trying to see who to vote for. It's a difficult decision cause GH may have voted for either. To win for scum Gh would have voted for Ansible only if he knew Ansible could be recruited.

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Sorry HO. I thought I would be alive and thus set you as my successor. I guess I should have built a conditional that if I was FK'ed, I would make tattersail scum. Oh well, at least it was a beautiful ending.

Well played all, hilarious game. Nice work by town to fix the confusion by decimating themselves so there was no one left to argue with, after which point they could work together <_< Special mentions to ansible, Tattersail (awesomely rubbish finding was what we wanted for a change! :D ) Gust Hubb, and Kurt Montandon, the original and best scum.

Does one still give out rep in Mafia? And how does one do that?

Rep can be given by finding one of their posts and clicking the little green + in the corner(above the "reply" button).

Congrats to town. <_<

Well, reading spoilers has been interesting. <_< I misunderstood some of the game mechanics and that let to a lot of small, (bad) decisions. The people I listened to on thread were often wrong, as well, which ended up confusing me a bit. I thought there was only 1 MH many times but in the end I was unsure.

@twelve - I'm sorry you had such a bad game. I think it's the fatalism that gets under my skin and causes me to overlook your arguments sometimes; I find the self-pity and self-voting and all pretty damning, and it doesn't stop even when you're out of the game. It's too bad I misunderstood you (and the mechanics) early on or we could have come to some sort of compromise on strategy. We mainly disagreed on whether or not to lynch a few people before using the finds to narrow the pool. On that topic...

I deliberately didn't use finds on many nights because I thought they were too valuable to waste, which I still partly agree with. Although from an odds perspective it makes sense to find a few people and then try to lynch, the benefit from this when so many players were alive was minimal. The odds of hitting MH were the same, but the consequences were much higher. I see the value in using the finds first, though, since even if WCS you hit MH twice, you would just start lynching people the same as if you were saving the finds till later. Well, what can I say.

I really enjoyed the game though. Kurt played very well and at the time I was so irritated by his reveal because it was so good. Khell's observations impressed me, too. Thanks to D'rek for the nice twist on the setup and running things smoothly. Tatts, we finally got our shit together towards the end and it paid off. Congrats to town...a very unlikely but satisfying victory.

Obviously, the only solution to any mistakes is to play more mafia.

My bet is on town to win by the power of friendship.

It's funny but this is probably exactly true. Tatts and I got lucky that neither of us were scum. Grief, I thought we were on the right track so many times. I kept clearing you because I felt sure you were RI but thought a) wanted to be sure about that, and b ) if you weren't then I didn't want you misleading me. <_<

For the first 36 hours or so I went back and forth about revealing, I had quite a few posts written and then deleted before finally caving in, I thought that maybe the MH might have a NK or something similar. Once it was apparent that he did not the game kicked off big time. I really enjoyed the mahy posts and debating during this game. I enjoyed the interaction. Other than my first find I was happy with the results. The endgame though was one of the best I've been ibvolved in or watched, playing it and having to make that final decision was so hard. I kept thinking that if I was in their shoes what would I do, I would have put the successor to be one of the finders, but it was more logical for me to pick HO over Ansible as I don't know if GH could have picked a successor as one of us whilst we still had the FK. I thought sticking to my guns and sticking it out with Ansible was the best way forward. Although Ansible's posts towards the very end made me think that he could actually be the recruit. Either way I enjoyed this game quite a lot and am made up we won!!

I don't know if anything I could have said would have saved me at the end. But I still tried. I knew that Tatts was my only faint hope, if I was going to convince anybody I wasn't scum. First time in my very short mafia career that I saw the bonds of trust pay off.

Good job, guys.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

So ... town managed to win through some peace and love bullshit?

That's just not Mafia.

The next game had better be extra bloody, with plenty of suspicion, insults, backstabbing and vitriol.
I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

Nice game. I enjoyed it, thank you D'rek!

I wouldn't say I had a bad game. My strategy was actually implemented later on in the game after all. However, I do agree that I was a complete moron for the whole first day and probably a bit longer after that. I did too much talking out loud and I should have installed a filter on what I posted to keep the random thoughts in my head from making it onto the page that is for sure. It definately didn't help my cause when I finally got serious. But Congrats on you and Tatter. I don't know how you guys manage to get 2 lynches right when the odds were clearly stacked against you. I had you written off when you finally managed to kill Kurt.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Well I'm glad those of you who have stated you had a good game enjoyed it, and I hope everyone else did too!

Only one more Rot3K game to go...

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.
