Hmmm, now that's interesting. I would have thought that being as it's often a representation of the writer's work, the art would have been something they'd have at least a decent weight in the planning of.

The second image seems to conjure a certain desperation amidst hard ability and murderous intent. I think that'd make a pretty fantastic cover.

That second image would be an awesome cover!

Try to include a character called Worry the Magnificent.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I would prefer to see their posh counterpart, Bedevil.

That is an old man giving advice as he dies, but the advice turns out to be utterly wrong, even though it sounded like a good idea, and almost kills the protagonist? And then the antagonist takes his mask off and it turns out to be Worry? Surprise Ending, Shocking Twist, AND making fun of Dicky 'Raptor Gaze' Rahl and his Granddad?

I mean... I feel like there is something there.

Having finally vanquished his foe, he turned to his companions and said, "At last, I have no Worrys."

THE END
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

The Liar's Key is out in the US and Canada today!

If you could do me a small favour and buy 100 copies each ... that'd be great!

I bought one copy. I am but a tadpole on my journey towards true Mark Lawrence devotee frogdom.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
