It looks gorgeous. My friend was complaining about it. He's a JRPG fan but he didn't like having to go through the opening part for each of the eight characters (this is what he's told me, I haven't played it myself) and he was really down on some of the dialogue. It's one of the games that's tempting me to get a Switch, though. I'm in JRPG mode at the moment. Got Dragon Quest XI on pre-order and am currently (FINALLY, seeing as I've had it for years) playing Fire Emblem: Awakening. Love the Fire Emblem games

Played some more Destiny 2 yesterday.

Tried teaming up with Cause but the shitty microphone that comes with the PS4 didnt work.

The game seems much improved though. Better environments, better NPCs. more dialogue and quest details. Feels like the game has a story now.

The spontaneous events in the zones also seem more aggressive, I feel like I was in a running fight with fallen and legion around this Sniper Tower for an hour. Kept picking up better loot, getting more power and murdering more fools. Felt great.

Im keen to try again. I googled it, apparently NAT issues have something to do with security and newtwork connections. Can be fixed by resetting the ps4 and trying again untill fixed apaprently. Or resetting the router etc.

Destiny is an upgrade compared to Destiny for sure. Still playing it there were moments I was sure it was four years ago as I playing, same friends, same jokes, same game.

Went out and bought a hundred dollar set of headphones for this game I wasn't even sure I wanted to bother with.

This month is going to be expensive. I've bought the Destiny expansion, I probably will buy Spider-Man, I recently remembered Tomb Raider is also this month and I HAVE to play that conclusion and at the end of the month Nintendo Online is going active.

Apart from our regular Monster Hunter: World session, my weekend was taken over by Fire Emblem: Awakening. Can't believe I've had this game sitting on the shelf since 2015 (I bought both it and a 3DS when I went on jury service as I figured I'd be waiting around a lot, then never used either) - it's amazingly, wonderfully brilliant and addictive as hell

To be fair, I've been a fan of most of the Fire Emblem games I've played in the past, although only the ones on handheld. I played a bit of the Game Cube and Wii ones but, for me, it's always been a series at home on portable. Sitting in front of the tv playing them didn't seem right. So loving Awakening this much shouldn't have come as such a surprise, I guess.

They are how you get stuff (guns, vehicles) in the multiplayer. I haven't played in a long time so it might have changed, but from what I remember some are cosmetic and others are the actual weapons/vehicles. So you can 'requisition' those items and use them in the multiplayer. I can't now remember if you can have them straight away or you unlock their use by earning a certain amount of points while in a multiplayer match - or both.

Does level matter in this game? I'm getting creamed so hard and can't match an actual player. For many matches I didn't realize that AI was involved in PvP so I thought I was smoking some motherfuckers hardcore. When I realized I was killing AI my heart sank.

From what I recall certain weapons, abilities and titans unlock as you level up, so yes, level matters. But your starting load out is very competitive.

TF is all about movement always be running and jumping and wall running.
