Can we at least try to limit our claims about fallacies, and if we do, at least use the fallacy correctly? What Silencer argued was clearly not a fallacy. There's enough of that nonsense on the internet as is.

"But everyone else enjoyed it!" is an appeal to popularity. Lots of people also enjoy Bieber. Doesn't mean he's good.

I mean, frankly, if Wolfenstein is being described as at all similar to D16, I can infer from that easily enough that I won't enjoy it, that it'll likely be full of the same glaring flaws that made me dislike D16. As before, a bad game isn't magically going to become good just by virtue of time passing - once a game is bad, it'll remain bad.

Yeah, we get it, you don't like games that are popular with most :p As also made clear when you talk about what you've done in the obscure games you are playing, and I understand about one word in ten of what you've written :no

I also DNF'ed the last DLC of the one of the best games I ever played, Witcher 3. It got to a point where I felt every choice I could make would end up doing horrible things to the characters I cared about, so I walked away, never looking back.

I mean, W3 was serviceable, but I didn't think it was a particularly great game. The endless repetition just got too much, and this form a guy who's partial to incredibly repetitive JRPGs (along with the dull combat and muddy controls). I can't bring any enthusiasm to pick it up again so I may as well leave it. Been about nine months since I last had any real progress.

Also a game being popular doesn't factor into my liking it, Kell - only the game actually being good.

Been playing a lot of Rocket League again lately. Had some very nasty setups with my 2v2 partner in it. I should cobble a video together sometime to collate them together.

Sure sure - except you've repeatedly said you won't try such-and-such a game solely because of the hype around it or because it sounds like such-and-such other popular game :no

I'm only teasing you anyway. If you don't rate something, you don't rate it, and that's obviously fine. Plus Rocket League is great fun (though I'm objectively terrible at it).

Rocket League, the game where I soar majestically through the air. The light glitters on my perfectly designed car as I miss the ball by a mile.

I haven't launched a game in 2 weeks (excepting a round of Expert Spider Solitaire here and there- but that's more of a brain-numbing time killing thing).

Been more focused on reading at home. Also, having to do loads more cooking whilst my mom's on vacation, and I can't carry a PC into the kitchen.

I think I might just start replaying the Darksiders games, since I'm planning to buy III in November and Darksiders II is a pretty long game.

Destiny 2 has taken over my life. Finally finished the base games story. Doing dailys and public events grinding out rep. I think I'll start up Curse of Osiris during the weekend.

I assume I'll hit what ever loot wall people complain about but so far I am greatly enjoying this. So much so that I think I'll just skip Spider-Man and Tomb Raider this month. I'm hooked on the dailys anyway.

Well, they've reintroduced random rolls to guns now, so you may not (though I think they might be limited to the new guns released with Forsaken), if you're someone who just HAS to hunt for that perfect roll gun.

Curse of Osiris was one of the most derided parts of Destiny 2, so it'll be interesting to see what you think of it. What I found interesting was that Warmind and especially Forsaken have been received much better, and those were mostly lead developed by Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios, rather than Bungie itself.

Honestly, I just like shooting things so I suspect Osiris will be fun.

hmmm. Darksiders Warmastered Edition has an annoying bug where the audio in cutscenes does not work properly. It's highly annoying.

Guess i'll have to reinstall the Steam version of the original.

Edit: nope, I have the original GOG installer still! whew, that's a relief.

Not noticing significant graphical difference between the Warmastered + "Legacy" editions, tbh. Aside from the resolution (legacy is 1080p, so I get black bars on top and bottom, but they're small), no really noticeable things, since I'm too busy swording stuff to notice poor textures or not w/e.

I started a game on "Apocalyptic" for some reason, and... it's tough, lol. Second basic demon type was already giving me trouble and being a nuisance to kill without dying. Need to get back into the "2 strikes and then dash away" mindset I used when I was playing Witcher 2 on Dark mode.

Also, I like jump attacks too much, and those are useless on big enemies, who continue to hit war while he's trying to float away. Bad habit I have left over from LoK: Defiance that I need to get rid of.

Still, I'm up to Samael already, and I'm totally onboard with this game and it's universe. Again.
The Watcher being played by Mark Hamill helps.

I dislike games that make it really hard to save. Like, if you don't want to have the option to save whenever you want I get that but at least have some form of auto-save or at least make save points a lot more regular. I remember playing I've of the Resident Evil games and desperately looking for a typewriter or whatever it was. Very frustrating.
