The game I'm playing is...

Been playing Monster Hunter World today. It's surprisingly good.
I was hesitant to try it out since Japanese grind fest are not my jam but this is a very well designed introduction to the concept. While there sure are a lot systems, items, gear, mechanics, etc. The game does a good job of easing you into it. I can't quite find a melee weapon I enjoy but I do like the medium fast gun. It almost feels like cheating shooting monsters from a far but fuck getting stunned or running out of energy/stamina.
I actually designed my character to look like Geralt from Witcher 3. I named my character White Wolf and named my calico Dandelion. It was cool for 5 minutes but then the illusion was shattered the moment my character began running and tumbling around in that awful Japanese anime way.
Anyway, great game so far.

I'm enjoying Wolfenstein II The New Colossus, but it's plot has gone completely bonkers, even by the standards of the first game!
I'm all about the willing suspension of disbelief but Sheesh... That's off the charts! On the plus side I had a load of fun riding the robot doggo around...

I've ordered Wolfenstein 2.
I played through most of the prologue on the PC before the game started crashing because my PC was old.
The game is definitely ridiculously over the top. But that's how I want my Cartoon Nazi killing.

I've never liked The Outsider as a character or a concept so I wasnt terribly invested in the outcome. I wonder if Death of the Outsider was made because they knew they weren't getting a green light for Dishonored 3?
That's disappointing, I thought it was doing well

Yeah the more insane it got the more I found myself just shrugging and going "fair enough" but on reflection I realised how nuts it was!

Supposedly neither Dishonored 2, Wolfenstein 2 or Prey did well. Prey especially bombed I've heard.
Which is worrysome because I'd hate to see Bethesda giving up on making quality single player experiences.

That prey bombed is a crime against video games. I tell everyone to play it.

I got pixeljunk monsters 2 and the street fighter anniversary collection on the switch. Both quality purchases, one slightly overpriced I think but the other under, so it’s a fair deal.

Started my second run through of Detroit: Become Human last night. It's already quite different from first time through.

Been busy, and watching E3 and spending loads of time outside.
Squeezed 1 one mission of BroodWar- halfway through the Terran campaign now! I'll try to power through it by Fri.

I bought Uncharted Collection and Horizon during the PSN E3 sale. I figured it would be fun to replay the original games before I play Uncharted 4.
So I've been Uncharted 1. That a very rough first try at that series. Very on even controls and difficulty curves but damn if it isn't still fun.
Also been playing Super Meat Boy. That game hols up well but I guess it's not hard when your game is pure distilled platform puzzling.

I replayed them all over last Christmas after finishing Lost Legacy and, yeah, 1 is very clunky even without judging it by the standards they set from 2 onwards. I loved it when it first came out but this time I was glad to get it done and move on to the joys of Among Thieves. I must replay 4 at some stage.

I want to play a good RPG
May try to snag Xenoblade for my kids Wii for replay Xenosaga on my PS2. Maybe replay Star Ocean 4 on my 360.
I want an RPG now
Don’t feel like playing an FF title though if I do will play 8 or 10 or 12. Need to finish 13-2 and get 13-3.

Picked up Girls' Frontline. It's a wholesome gacha game where the gacha is you create cute little android anthropomorphisms of guns and then send them to fight and die for you. For a free game it's pretty good fun!

Been playing Wolfenstein 2 and Yooka Laylee.
Wolfenstein 2 starts out pretty hectic. Felt like I was rushing for these first couple of hours. But it is a great shooter. There's nothing quite as fun as emptying a magazine into a cartoon Nazi
Also been playing Yooka Laylee. I never played the Banjo Kazooie games so I can't comment on the similarities but does feel like a fun collectaphon. I like running around finding objects. However the character/dialogue are/is pretty bad and the controls are not tight enough for a 3D platformer.

Hot damn this is a blast! Old school turn based greatness! Awesomesauce! Sometimes the dialogue goes on wayyy to long and the save points have been few to but other then that this game has hit the spot on my RPG crave.
Hopefully my attention is held for the duration.

Having finished the UED Campaign, I'm now making my slow way through the Zerg campaign, leaving a swath of destruction and scorched earth in the wake of the Swarm.
I'm wondering how long it'll take me to approach burnout.
