I'm definitely looking forward to haunted chocolatier. Last I heard it was still far from finished.

I guess when you earn a bazillion dollars on your last game, you can take all the time you want.

Yeah, I heard something like 2026? Which is fine. I would never want him to rush it. I'll buy it the moment it comes out, whenever that may be. Until then I can max out Stardew.

Original AoE tech tree is weird.

And the new campaigns in AoE II are pretty tough. Pyrrhus is especially challenging.

On the brightside, AoE II DE runs off my crappy laptop, so I don't need to worry about living away from my precious gaming PC for a while.

I'm currently deep in Zelda. I might wait with Diablo 4 til July, where I hear a battlepass is being released.

Just finished Baldur's gate enhanced edition on the switch. Skipped the Siege of Dragonspar bit after being bummed out by how it justifies losing all your companions and stuff. Imported my guy into Baldur's gate 2 and hope I'll see some familiar faces in there. :)

Back to AoE II DE. started chipping away at the custom Return of Rome campaigns. Played "After the Flood", which is about the hill fort of Kish trying to get a leg up on its Sumer neighbours. You start with no villagers and not enugh food to make one, but Akkadians are spread all over in the valley below your fort, and you can already train priests to start converting them. It's all fun and games until the Elamites show up raiding to wreck you.

Eventually, I figured out how you do this. And moved on to the Exodus campaign. Not a lot to say about that yet.

EDIT: finished Scenario 3 (of 5) yesterday.

The waterfall wall representing the Red Sea was pretty. Unfortunately, it doesn't collapse at any point in the scenario. I'm guessing the last 2 scenarios will be about conquest of Canaan.

Tried a couple of games out on the Steam Next Fest.

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery - a remake of the first MICA team game but re-imagined to align it with the storyline updates of their other games (as it takes place AFTER everything else they've released) - turn based tactical SRPG. It was pretty fun and pretty thought intensive. If you don't pay attention you get punished hard, but success is very rewarding.

Paleo Pines: A cutesy farming sim in the vein of Stardew, but you're also ranching dinosaurs. It was pretty fun!

Im playing stardew valley, why am I playing stardew valley I am not sure. Its not the rogue lite make your farm suceed despite the odds game I thought I was buying. Its just a farming simulator, no goals no way to fail. Yet I keep palying. Its turn on, turn off nature fits the steamdeck perfectly and I keep farming just one more day.

I am currently in a Divinity: Original Sin 2 co-op playthrough, sort of as preparation for Baldur's Gate 3.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

A new Factorio / Dyson Sphere style game called Techtonica just dropped - I'll be trying it out soon.

Also went back to 4546B and the Aurora recently too!

I escaped the first area and then GoW2 dropped so I stopped playing. I was really enjoying the game I need to get back to it but Diablo 4 is taking up my gaming time currently.

Oh the drama from the new patch drop, that has been entertaining to say the least!

Diablo 4 - Processing. I started playing and already have a lvl 60 character in diablo 4, which was released relatively recently. i enjoy the gameplay, i really like the map for its atmosphere. i play as a mage mainly because of ice + electric. i don't seem to have any problemsPosted Image
I had to add fire, because there were some unpleasant enemies who did not care about the cold
I recently bought a new game baldur gate 3. i really like bg 3 and diablo!! but i can't find time to play two games at the same time and level up my characters. maybe i can use some kind of boost service like this? what do you think, does anyone have experience with such solutions?

New factory game called Techtonica came out recently. It's pretty good. Rough at the edges but has some cool ideas and plays well.

I tried out Techtonica briefly. It's a cool concept but I didn't get too far into the tutorial before quitting. It's way too obtuse . Menus upon menus with weird things that are not described properly.

Been playing Diablo on and off the past three weeks. It's fun but not quite as all consuming as I'd have hoped. I don't like that the enemies level along with you. It ruins the Power fantasy and the feeling of progressing.

There's also just something about the damage tuning that I don't like. It's not fun that my beefy barbarian has to hit trash mobs 5-10 times to kill them. When I bash a goblin I want it to burst into ketchup.

I think the narrative and game world presentation is pretty bad as well, but what ever. I whirlwind and stuff dies.

I have a 76 sorc on eternal and 75 rogue on season... kinda hit a brick wall due to lack of endgame content... all my gear is min-maxed so new upgrades are rare and all I really have to do is grind nightmares till I'm level 100 and strong enough to beat Uber Lilith...

I won't be doing that so having a break to see what they will drop in season 2...
