It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. Despite the divided opinion on the ME3 endings Bioware are still doing really great in the Escapist Magazines Developers Showdown
I'm supporting Bioware and Bethesda - with Bioware to win it all, of course!

I've been paying attention to the showdown and I, too, am cheering for both Bioware and Bethesda to win. There's a reason why the people over at Escapist Magazines put them in two separate brackets... Although picking a side Bethesda's current matchup against Valve pained my inner geek

In a really interesting real world application of technology, the U.S. FBI has licensed for use the graphics engine that powers ME3 for "a variety of purposes." I hope that they release more information on this subject other than what is found in this CNET article.

Yeah, going against Valve was hard but I love Fallout 3 enough that it numbs the pain of it. Does Mojang have any games other than Minecraft? Obviously nothing I've come across (or have noticed) in the past.
A showdown between Bioware and Bethesda games would be epic - think of the collateral damage! XD
EDIT: Using the Unreal Engine 3 for sims makes a lot of sense and is a potentially brilliant idea for law enforcement. Would be good to know how they plan to implement it.

Bethesda vs Bioware could cause a shattering of the rpg geek continuum. Mass Effect vs Fallout. Baldurs Gate/Dragons Age vs the Elder Scrolls... oh geez!

Bethesda deserves to win that just for Skyrim.

Skyrim....*shakes head* The whole game was an anti-climax. It's at the bottom of my list of things Bethesda should be proud of.
EDIT: Though, that could be a bit harsh. I intend to go back and play just the main plot through at same stage - I might change my opinion then.

I'd prefer to enjoy everthing but the ending than the other way around. Skyrim was good....but it wasn't really enjoyable.

I agree to disagree, gameplay wise it's one of the best things that ever happened to gaming. EXPLORATION, DAMMIT! FREE ROAMING!

Yeah, but the modding hasn`t really come into its own yet in world/house/ town/ dungeon design, on account of the engine crashing on big objects.
