Bold play by PB, pushing so hard on Ment atm. He has another whole day he needs to survive just in order to shift again. He risks hitting poisoned alts after that really bad, and he needs to survive more than anything else. Personally I'd leave the pushing until tomorrow...

Kurt-Merrid, realising he's having a bad game. To be fair, it's more to do with everyone's obstinacy in this game, but still:
Merrid, on 03 November 2010 - 11:29 PM, said:
Holy crap, I really am blundering.
I'm thinking if I got lynched it wouldn't be bad for my team, it might be the only way to get me to stop from shooting Tiam in the foot again.
But I still think the Ruse vote was the correct one, as was my case for doing so - I should've just waited for a couple buffer votes. Bad luck to be playing at the same time as my leader, and being impatient. Ugh. Hope it doesn't him lynched in turn.
And I really do wonder if Ruse was distracting from Silchas. Speculating as such in thread, though, just looked like flailing around.
Not my best game ever, and it's only Day 2.

That vote by Rashan could go very poorly for PB. It will be an interesting day that we see a 1-vote train outpace two 3-vote options, but if it does happen it will both illuminate the Di Lauro faction (only way I can see it happening) and remove the FM, which would be terrible, but awesome just the same.
Wonder why she did that, though? D'rek's vote isn't very well supported, just a vague drop-and-run, so I'm not sure whether it's a proper attempt at starting a train? And why? If Omtose is an actual leader, then leader vig. If not, just go with friggin' Tiamatha or Merrid? O.o

Hey Silencer, mockra is looking to avoid modkill. Sounds reasonable, but I'll let you get back to him.

Hey Silencer,
Today's been pretty hectic for me, what with having an exam this morning and an exam tomorrow morning, could I please get an exemption from modkilling if I qualify for it? I'll try to get on and post when I can, but I don't really know when that is (although I should be able to post before end of day...).

I think the clock will time out at 9:05 am EST, which I imagine will be too late for you. If there is an indication as to who will be lynched, you can write a scene if you feel so inclined otherwise I can handle everything when I get up at 9:20ish. They can wait on my sleep hehe since it is only like 20 extra minutes. I won't be around to resolve night though thanks to all my classes, unless all actions are already in. So let's really stress provisionals since we'd be a few hours into day before any night resolution would occur.

Righteo, I'll get a scene written up as best I can before I go to sleep...which should be in about 5 hours, so I'll leave it on thread here for you when you wake up.
As for morning resolution, yeah, provisionals would be great, I'll make sure to poke the ones who haven't submitted, too.

Korabas makes a good choice.
Looks like that will do it for serc. Will be interesting to see PB's new plan, now that he can't reveal the cult recruiter.

Ok so I'm off.
If Serc doesn't get healed (which is unlikely, since he is unknown to everyone but Omtose), he is CFed as "a member of the dark worshippers" yes? Also will recruiting abilities be passed to whoever is recruited tonight (night 2)? since Omtose can't really be the recruiter, though that would be interesting.

Hrm, that IS standard practice, though I haven't written it into the rules. I think yes, tonight's recruit inherits the role. And Omtose could gain recruiting powers...but that would just be weird. Especially as PB would lose them when he jumps tomorrow night. XD
And Serc would CF as a Dark Worshiper or something along that line, correct.

Hoosier changes his provisional (though he still hits PB, funnily enough):
If he targets PB again tomorrow, he will not see anything suspicious in the death at all. Oh the lulz. XD

Hopefully that's my leader signalling me someone NOT on our team, and not him signalling someone ON our team.

one poison on merrid, simply cos he voted for me, and keeps mentioning my supposed appearing from nowhere nonesense, and hitting him today wont kill him, but gives me the option l8er on so hopefully his death wont be connected to his voting me
one poison on Tiam unless he gets lynched in which case poison mockra

To be fair, Ruin mentioned going out to town, eating and getting stuck in a pub, lol.

Kurt submitting one of the most convoluted, self-justifying Night Action provisionals I've ever seen, barring my own that I sometimes send in when I'm paranoid:
Merrid, on 04 November 2010 - 07:34 AM, said:
Provisional:
If Tiamatha gets lynched, Heal Merrid.
If I get lynched, it doesn't matter.
If neither of us gets lynched, I'll wait until I get out of bed and see what happened to decide (Nights look to be 12 hours, from the OP, so I should have plenty of time). Basically, if it looks like people judge Tiam to be a leader, I'm going to heal myself, because no one seriously tries to go after a leader with an NK. After all, they've obviously got a Healer covering them. If people are judging me to be a leader, then Tiam needs the Heal. But that can wait.
Also, if Nights are shorter than 12 hours and I'm forgetting because I'm drunk, my provisional is Heal Merrid. Unless I get lynched. And why the fuck would I need a provisional if I got lynched? But only if Nights are shorter than 12 hours. It's fucking late, and I feel selfish. I mean, hey, self-Healing worked out pretty damn good for me in the 40K game, right? Until I got fucking Culted. Fucking Cults. Not as bad as Jesters though. And if there's a Jester in this game, I will hunt you guys down, AND I WILL CUT YOU.
It took me twenty minutes to write and edit this post, just for the record.

Kurt sets his provisional based on the 6 hour night:
You sit on a throne of lies.
But I'm seriously going to bed now. So, uh, fuckit.
Heal Merrid.
Because it's a fucking crap-shoot which of us is going to be targeted tonight. So if he gets NKed and is reading this from spoilers ... sorry dude. But I have the feeling you'll be tagged as leader and me as follower, which makes me the more obvious NK target.
Then again, I'll probably be lynched and he'll be NKed, so we're both hosed.
And quotes, for some reason, the standard wall-o-text rules.

Scenes for Stalker:
If no lynch:
A second day passes, with more whispering between participants. Groups form, huddled in their corners, casting dark glances at the others, making clear their suspicions. Accusations, too, were prevalent. Some claimed enemies were getting too powerful, holding too much sway over the court (what a silly argument. If true, you can't possibly fight them, can you?). Others suggested third parties were distracting from the matters at hand. Still more seemed to sit back, declaring a personal dislike or some such nonsense for another player, though few seemed to pay them much attention, barring the occasional "selfish", or "independent" being thrown their way.
Storm clouds gathered over the planet's surface, as more heated arguments evolved, then died away again. Surges of verbal activity were common until nightfall, when all subsided into silence. Had a consensus been reached? It seemed not. The rabble was too inept or disorganised to muster the necessary sacrifice to the great sky god, Kill-Sat 117. The bickering factions edged ever closer to their own destruction, risking the burning wrath of the orbital body.
Day 2 has ended, there was no lynch.
It is now Night. Please submit actions as quickly as possible!

To appease his thirst for blood. For a time. Gathering, the participants pulled and pushed the victim, beating him as they went, onto the sacrificial platform. Then the holy light sped down from the heavens, incinerating all that was beneath. Less than a moment, but discernible nonetheless, the victim's girlish screams could be heard.

Man, Kurt knows how to provide a prov.
See, that's what I hate. Basically, as a mod, you have to create a massive excel to keep up with all the contingencies. Including a line what may and may qualify for a provisional (or just going Iron Man) has been a real joy for me in the past 1.5 years of moddage
