yup, that was me. I realized after I posted that you might not be able to tell the difference between the posts, but that's funny.

I'll be in and out for the next couple hours. Working on a big bio lab report for tomorrow, but that doesn't take all my time. Won't be missing lynch at all though, which appears like it will be Ruse. Poor dibs.

Yeah. I'm about to pop out for an hour, but I should be around for lynch. I'll write the scene as soon as I have the time.

Also, the problem for dibs is that he went to sleep! Wtf? I mean, sure, RL is important...but dude, pretty much guaranteed way to get lynched. Ah well...

Merrid: Heal Tiamatha
Ruse: Heal Silchas

Tiamatha: Poison Serc and Ruse
Korabas: Poison Serc and Galain

Emur: Jump into Omtose

Serc: Recruit Omtose.

These are our provisonals so far. Still need 1 assassin, 1 alchemist, all kings.

What is the order of actions for this game with poison last? Is it heal, recruit, kill, jump, poison?

edit: I did see you were keeping track on the main page as well. Double effective.

I'm organised like that. Sometimes. Once every so often. XD

Uhm, the order is:

Leader Vig > Recruit > Jump > Heal > Poison, actually.

Leader vigs have no counter, so they auto-resolve, and leaders have no other power except the two independent factions (whose powers also cannot be blocked). Heal only beats poison because it removes the previous day's token before the new one is placed (n this sense, a heal is like a booster shot, if it is placed on the same night as a poison...if you have the antidote, you can't be poisoned).

Recruit beats Jump because jump is a slow change. But it still takes place at night so it beats the night-long heal and poison. :(

Mockra (MTS) decides not to act.

Since I have little ideas on factions at the moment, much less leaders, I will choose to refrain from devouring someone tonight. (I devour as a vampire, right?)

Sensible call. In Culture, I leader vigged the Eater leader night one, but that was because there was some damn obvious signs on-thread.

Well that's an interesting train that's developed on Ruse. Seems forced, but that's day 1 for you.

I always have horrid bad luck in faction games, so I'd lay odds that he's probably in my faction, but I don't have the time to hang around beyond this post or be back before deadline, so

Vote Ruse

le booh, looks like we're hurdling towards another lynchless Day 1.

I blame everyone but myslef.

If we don't have a lynch, I'll blame brood you.

Shinrei calling it fairly well on-thread. Bad luck in faction games indeed... XD

End of day scene:

[if Dibs is lynched]
Days on this planet seemed long, and slow. Everyone lacked energy, even for talking. Eventually a candidate had to be chosen. After all, who would willingly be fed to the great sky god, SpySat-117? A target was marked, for something he said, no less, in this day of quiet contemplation. Perhaps it was due to discussions behind closed doors, this lack of open communications? In any case, a participant was singled out, herded and forced into a corner. Oddly enough, all this didn't seem to disturb his sleep. The bottles scattered about him perhaps giving clues as to the deepness of his slumber.

As the various parties gathered together to finalize their ritual, faces could be made out. Hungry eyes, betraying a burning desire to feed on blood. Cold faces, devoid of remorse. And a few whose faces were impassive, slaves to non-interference, ageless and distant. But some of those alien faces, they held a hint of fear, of remorse. For it was one of their own who was being sacrificed this night, and that loss would put them at a disadvantage. No matter, really. They had come back from worse odds before.

Ruse is dead, he was an Eater.

It is now Night. Submit actions to get a fast resolution!

This fell gathering, however, did not have enough power - they were missing some members, and the sacrifice to the silent observer could not be completed. What a shame. Perhaps this failure will spell doom for them all? But not yet...no, not just yet...

Day has ended. There was no lynch.

It is now Night. Submit actions quickly to get a fast resolution!

I find it amusing that the alt who would have been my first lynch target is being both recruited and FMed.

I think about 1.5 years. I have it on my netflix to watch list. Hoping it is good.

With the lack of a lynch, I'll leave the resolution (if we ever get all NAs) to you. I need to finish up my work and get to sleep. Also borrowed a copy of The Force Unleashed 2, pretty awesome so far.

edit: both of us being the birds is confusing. I'm hoping when people read through, they think that you are talking to yourself. Dibs on Munin though. You can be Hugin.

I was thinking more of the player, but that works too.

Sure thing. I'll be awake at night's end, if it times out, so all is well.

I'd heard fairly negative things about TFU 2, is it very similar to the first one? Most important: HAVE THEY FIXED THE DAMN MENU SYSTEM? XD

Yeah, mind you, normally get that with PS to an extent too. It's just that we have overlap in our times. And the real question is: which bird is which in the avatar?!@?!?!?

Fine, make me look bad cause my mind is elsewhere. I think the member Defiance has been around for 9ish months iirc.

TFU 2 is very similar to the first. Except you have 2 lightsabers, honestly, it's been too long to really recall the last one. But it's a carbon copy in my opinion.
I didn't read any reviews though so I have no idea what the critics say. And as for the menus, they work for me and seem easy to navigate. I don't remember the ones in the last game.

edit: as to the birds, I have no idea. Since the account is Hugin and Munin, let's just run it left to right.

I can't believe we had another failed day one lynch. I thought I got us all out of that damn rut last game?

Ah well, even if the scene for a lynch was slightly better (imnsho), it leaves dibs in the game to go on the warpath (I hope) and fuck some shit up.

It will also minimize the effect of modkills: Silchas Ruin is up for it, unless he gets three posts in quick-smart before night times out, Tulas Shorn may also be down for that. Will work my way up the list when the time is closer, and make sure people are meeting the requirements. :(

Haha. And really? 9 months? Damn time flies. :S

The menus in the first one were terrible! You didn't really need to use them, but if you wanted to change your lightsaber colour it was about 2 minutes time: the loading screen for getting INTO the pause menu, the loading screen for getting into the LIGHTSABER menu and the two loading screens going back out? Wtf was up with that shit? Ugh.

And left to right it is! :(

Yeah, I am looking forward to dibs' reaction. It was a good effort, just not enough people around. Though they learned a great lesson, targeting those who are asleep is great so you don't have to talk to them while you post a terrible reason to lynch them.

Ok, well the crystals take seconds to get to and change. Start, over twice with thumbstick, hit A, select choice, done. There is no loading screen either, it is instant. The crystals do help abilities (give more health when killing enemies, etc). I think that may be new, can't remember though.

Some of them did things like that in the last game, but mostly it was aesthetics.

Also: Atrahal may have been online, just not voting. Though he's UK time, so he may also have actually not been around. But if he was, it'd have been nice of him to let us know that he was deliberately abstaining because he knows Ruse. XD

Yeah, but no-one likes getting lynched while asleep! It's normally how I eventually go down. Bastards finish me off once I'm forced offline to sleep. Ugh.
