Loved Alice in today's ep. Oh, and Connor finally grew up. Well, he's drawn slighly differently, which makes him seem more grown up. In any case, great ep

HOLY SHIT! PEOPLE, PEOPLE, THE LAST TWO EPISODES OF FREAKANGELS ARE SERIOUSLY DELIVERING!
apparently mark has gone insane because of guilt, and now they're trying to undo the apocalypse they caused. i assume everyone is just more interested in GoT on HBO right now, but you should really check these episodes out.

I wonder if Ellis has one more twist up his sleeve, or will just let it roll out.

Fuck.
Mark being nuts isn't really that much of a revelation, but the rest of the world still being intact was HUGE!
I'm hoping for more than 'the FAs fix the world and fly off into the sunset while Alice becomes Prime Minister of England.'.
Actually, i'm perfectly content with Alice becoming prime minister....

Speaking of which, can we get Warren Ellis to be the actual Prime Minister of England? Call Me Dave is getting on my nerves. Amazing how the same photo-op can seem a stroke of genius from Obama and a try-hard moment of pretension from Cameron.
Slightly OT that, but never mind.

Apart from the last page, this has been a lot of filler. Pwitty pictuws, but filler.

Today's ep had the revelation that Karl and Kurt are gay. I can't quite decide if this was at all hinted at - they were certainly buddies, but nothing in my recall suggests this was anything but an out of nowhere reveal.
Otherwise, just amping up the 'fixing England could kill us but we're doing it anyways' angle ever so slightly...

Ah! So that was what was going on. I didn't understand it because I thought bald girl was suddenly kissing gardner guy for no apparant reason and then she was gnawing on that Emo long hair guy again. I was wondering why her eye brows suddenly looked so butch.

I was worried about a shitty ending and this is looking more and more like a shitty ending.

Strangely enough, I get the feeling that is precisely what the readers are supposed to be thinking at this point. I'm not saying they're going for the old bait-and-switch twist ending which is what they also might be pushing us toward as a second-level theory, but something a bit different may be in the offing. I have nothing to back that up, it's just the story so far has been a little offbeat.
Mainly a little "nagging itch" in the back of the head. Something like Jimmy the Hand's "bump of trouble".

Actually, I think there will be a twist. KK saying she undid someone's upgrade was snuck in there before the eyebleeding started but I think that can be way more important than the fact they're pushing themselves.
As for a shitty ending: the pace of FA has been slow and events have been mostly personal and about personal interaction. A big 'splosive finale would not suit the way FA developed. I think something much more understated is going to happen, and that may disappoint or it may hint at other little things throughout the story.
