14 hours eh? What airport you flying into, and are you planning to do anything or just hand around near the airport until your next flight/train/motorised means of conveyance is ready? If you're going to Paris, which I think you are, you presumably are flying into London then catching the train to Paris from Kings X/St Pancras?

I am flying into Heathrow... busing out of Victoria Stattion at around 9 or 10pm

will be doing something in london... I have 12 - 14 hours so no need to stay at the airport and my suitcase will be safely locked away.

I may have had some wine already today so sorry if I make no sense :killingme:

Be sure to pick up a map as it will help Toby to navigate while sober.

Victoria? Erm....I spose you're pretty near Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament etc, if you want to do that sort of thing briefly whilst you kill time. Otherwise, there's a wetherspoons pub in the station where you can get grotty food and cheap(ish) beer if you're looking to kill time!

Also, if you like art, you're very close to the Tate Britain. I think they've still got that Henry Moore exhibition on which is pretty good, I'd recommend if you have the time.

I do so enjoy a wetherspoons. Nothing says "England" like a pub that at 8am is filled with mouthy builders drinking before work, all day is filled with alcoholic old men, then at night time is filled with 16 year old chavs and a few older blokes glassing eachother over who spilled who's 27pence worth of lager.

Matrix is a club in Berlin I would recommend, although I was battered at the time so it could just be a drink improed assessment. There's a great bar somewhere in East Berlin we found after about 20mins wandering from Ostbahnhof where the inside is like a hawaiian beach. Outside it was February, icy cold and sleet. Open the door and it's beach furniture and bamboo shit, hot, and the floor is covered about a foot deep with golden sand.

OK, I'll admit it, I chuckled. :)

Actually, what set off that whole meme of Tiste as a necro? It was so long and so many dead brain cells ago.

At least I recall the bit about being a cross dresser, what with that noob saying how hot that Tiste chick in the wedding dress was. :)

Hmmm ... there's an idea - anyone who saved that pic should send it to all@police.gov.uk or something like that. I'm sure that would go down well at the station. Like the hookers that get brought in during the graveyard shift ...

Another thought strikes - is Tiste going to try to keep to the graveyard shift? :)

Wow. Nice to know you're thinking about me Sombra. :) The cross dressing thing was just some stuff I got up to in first year at uni. It stuck. The necro thing came from a discussion me and snake were having on MSN - not the forum you'll note - that got hideously twisted and blown out of proportion. As things tend to do on the internet.

And no word of a lie, I don't do the graveyard shift. In my particular job they say it's not needed...

EDIT back to the point of the thread, Centz was alive and well when I left her in Cardiff. Had a great time, she is a good laugh!
