JLV, it's more that it's currently changing so fast it may not be recognisable soon. So it's not dire, just more interesting. I guess I'm lucky, because people who are in publishing at the moment and have been for a while might find it harder to adapt than people like me who are just entering it. The level of paranoia is amusing though.

So what you'll be getting *wipes needle site with disinfecting cotton* is 12 year old single malt scotch. It's been aged in a cherry and oak barrel *checks current in IV* so it has a smooth beginning with a pleasant nutty finish. Of course this will be of no consequence *inserts needle, tapes it down* since you won't be ingesting it orally.

So then, why so much booze?

By popular demand:

Aztec Hot Chocolate
Yield: 6 cups
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Keep time: 2 days in the fridge

Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups 3.25% milk
1 cup 35% cream
1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
2 cups 70% chocolate, coarsely chopped

2 star anise
1 stick of cinnamon
2 vanilla beans cut in half
1 pinch of nutmeg

Instructions:
1. In a pot bring the milk, cream and honey/maple syrup to a boil.
2. Add the spices and the chocolate and remove from heat. Let rest for 10 minutes. Pass through a sieve and boil again. Let rest 10 minutes.
3. Boil again just befor serving (this might be optional)
