DW, toss me a Student's Nectar.
Tis weekend was wonderfully unproductive. Really good for my ankle, but terrible for everyhting else.

I have a serious "to do" list now, with a bunch of stuff that must be done for certain times tomorrow.

I'll probably be up all night to get this stuff done.

I need something to give me the nerve to tell my dad that his Valentine's Day plans with my mom need to not involve me.

ugh, I hate doing this accounting crap.

Why did I not protest more vehemently when they nominated me for treasurer?

yah, could be.

I feel underwhelmed. I did most of the stuff I need to do. I can't finish the financial report until tomorrow morning, because I need to get the latest statement from a currently locked office. but everything else is basically done.

The only other thing on my to-do list is my take home midterm, but it's not due till Friday, and I'll have basically all of Wednesday to do it, since one of my classes that day is cancelled.

Wow, that is rather intense.
What exactly did you do?

Started drinking at around noon, then went to assorted parades and parties for the next 14 hours. They love their mardi gras parades down here. And it probably didn't help I forgot to eat dinner.
There is just always something to do this time of year.

2 day hangovers take a lot of drinking. I think i've had day and a half the first time I ever drank.

Don't think I've ever actually had a 2 dayer yet.

sigh, I wish i've had some beer right now....

For Lizra and Mott:

Translation:

Ingredients
-100g dark chocolate (max 64%) coarsely chopped
-250ml of raspberry puree without the seeds*
-60ml of sugar
-2 egg yolks

Directions
1-Chop the chocolate and set aside.
2-In a pot bring the puree and half the sugar to a boil and set aside.
3-In a bowl mix the other half of sugar with the egg yolks with a whisk. Gradually add the warm puree while whisking. Pour the complete mixture back into the pot and and cook gently while stirring for about 1 minute.
4-Pour the hot mix through a sieve over the chocolate in the bowl and let rest for 1 minute without stirring.
5-Whisk the whole thing until it's completely mixed. Pour into four espresso cups, cover and put in the fridge for 4 hours or all night.

*To make 250ml of raspberry puree without seeds, reduce 1 litre of thawed whole raspberries into a puree and pass through a fine sieve.

2 days of Mardi Gras left.

Time to buckle down and ignore that part of my brain that says its time to rest.

Hey DW, on behalf of Berk, only give him a light scrub. I would think the bright cleansing light of SE and ICE's brilliance would have loosened up the filth.

And what a mess to come back to. Could I have a rootbeer float?

welp, I've officially won my first case.

mind, the other guy decided to avoid paying, so he didn't show up, and now I have to rack my brain as to how to enforce the court order.

but the point is: I represented someone. In court. Against someone else.

And i've won.

Today I was informed by a leading industry member that we (that is, myself and my class) are entering an industry that may not exist at the end of the year. (He did add 'as we know it')

I'm not sure how I feel about this...

Pick a drink for me, won't you Darkwatch dear?
