so, this week, we have mailer hours at work--everyone we haven't reached this semester is getting somehting in the mail from us. Which means there are thousands of envelopes to be filled, and our maangers are giving us many extra hours.
I've decided to take advantage of this offer, and signed up for two hours 10-12 everyday this week, to ensure I get up sometime before 2 pm to have sufficient study time.

I've set my alarm clock to 8:05, in a valiant hope of getting up early and possibly getting breakfast (or exercising)
seeing as I went to bed round 4 30 AM, this was clearly in vain. so I set my alarm off for 1 hour, (so, to 9:05 AM). when it went off again, I turned it off, turned on the kettle, and went back to drowze until the water was ready to make tea (or possibly oatmeal)

naturally, when I opened my eyes, the clock said 9:46. being the practical guy that I am, getting ready to venture out into the frigid cold took me all of 4 minutes. I was at work on time.
I was there for seemed like 2 hours ( I certainly filed way more envelopes than I would in 1 hour), I said bye to my manager, she confirmed that I worked 10-12. I made numerous references to another girl that came in to do mailer hours that I would leave at 12, and so I did.

then I got back to rez, saw a friend in the lobby, chatted for a good 40 minutes. then I got lunch. As I glanced at the clock to confirm that it's 1, I was surprised to see that it was noon.
Incredulous, i checked my phone, yielding the same result. I re-set my phone. same result.
I inquired of several people, and they all confirmed it was, indeed, noon.
At which point I went to my room, checked the clock (which said 1 PM, and the alarm, which said 8 05. it dawned on me what must have happened.)

yet the questions remain: why did my manager not say anyhting about me only being in for 1 h instead of 2? Why did my coworker not notice anyhting? did work actually open at 9?

or was there, in fact, a timeskip and I somehow gained an extra hour?

given that she showed up after me, and that 9as far as I can tell: seems the only logical explanation), I showed up to work an hour early, I was still there for 2 hours, so it shouldn't matter what the actual hours are, as long as the totals match up.

in other news, I have finally forced myself to focus and start cramming. possibly 2 days too late, but better than if I started tomorrow @ midnight (my first exam is Fri morning)
realistically, this one I don't need that much time for. my worst is next Monday. I figured i'd need 4 days to be ready for it. I'll make do with 2.5. not to mention i'll have the nights....

Looks like you'll be needing quite a few Student Nectars there Ment.
I hope you plan to cram with someone else during the normal waking hours. Makes it easier to remember.

For this, you should marry her all over again. Immediately.

It'll have to get bumped to the 3rd time.

I still have to marry her for the second time when last weekend i asked her what she wanted to do and she responded with "Watch all the Die Hard movies".

I take it back. You're not worthy. No man is.
Divorce her immediately and then nominate her for sainthood.

what are these waking hours you speak of?
no, seriouly, i'm pretty sure I switched mostly to naps at this point.
I did notice that i'm nearly out of tea, though.

considering the upcoming weekend, a shortage of decaffeinated stimulants could equal catastrophe.
current plan is to not sleep, since exam is in the morning. I may lose some study time tomorrow, potentially.

hmm, too early to tell if i'll be done in time to get a decent sleep.

That's the thing, I haven't been up to anything! And I don't recognise the number, so I'm thinking it's a wrong number thing.

Odd situation there MTS. Can you do a number search?

On my end I just came back from a gym session and the following things are different:
-I'm not tired (in fact I'm more awake than I have been all day). Which is odd seeing as I had little sleep last night.
-I'm not hungry, at all.
-Much much less perspiration than normal, my head was bone dry.
-I'm not exhausted either. I could have gone for a swim after my cardio.

There was nothing different about the routine today. Nothing that could account for this in my mind.
It doesn't worry me, but it leaves me rather perplexed.
