He looked through the sniper-scope. There... the oldsmobile, right where it had first appeared, parked outside of the garage. He'd spent the better part of the past day tracing it. Of the driver, no sign. He returned the scope to where it was stored under the seat of the van, drew an automatic browning from under the chair. Time to find the man inside he house.

He kicked down the door, entered, rolled into the living room, saw a man in his forties in a dirty blue anorack getting up, trying to run. He pulled the trigger, and the man fell back.

"Au revoir, mon ami," he said in his best French.

Tulas Shorn is dead. He was Claude Fernêche, a French spy

~~

She heard the shots, and winced, then turned and ran, discarding the wide clothing and the shopping bag. Safety first. She ran for the nearest high place, an old church, and started scaling it with the grace of a tiger, aided by her fear. Only once she was fourty metres above the ground, perched on the bronze bell, did she dare relax.

Wow, if Kaschan is telling the truth, then we won't ever know if we hit scum or not, but the other option is of course that he is lying...or maybe I am missing something.

Are you saying you're the one that killed Tulas then?

Edit: never mind, I didn't read the scene properly.

err no, but i am guessing thats me running away as i failed to perform the action i attempted. no point in pretending it wasnt, i am on (and posting) and from the guard its obvious i am a lady character and i prefer the direct honest approach to play in town vs scum. either someone is still blocking me or my target is immune to my charms.

The man with the Browning left the house, gun hidden under his dark blue coveralls. He had time before the police arrived - they were sloppy here, but he wanted to be back in his hideout as soon as possible.

He stepped into the van, noticed that the door was left open. Fear gripped him, and he tried to start. No such luck. "Fuck, fuck, fuck," he cursed. He lifted the seat, grabbed the sniper rifle, and ran to the oldsmobile, connecting the wires and racing away, all caution lost. He would have to dispose of the flashy thing, but for now, making his escape would be more important.

From somewhere close, a figure appeared, toying with the stiletto he ahd used to cut through the wiring. Best to destroy the van and leave no evidence at all. He installed some explosives, and left. He didn't know about the woman in the catsuit high in the belltower, but all she saw of him was a black shadow calmly sauntering off against the hellish orange of the fireball that was the truck.

That was very unexpected...so now we have to ask serious questions about Kaschan.

The blond woman approached the glamorous redhead, taking a seat opposite her. She felt out of place in the expensive restaurant and her dress was far from suitable for the occassion: a one shoulder grey cotton shirt, her long blonde hair loose. In contrast, the redhead looked like she came straight out of a dream: a form hugging red dress, white silk shawl, hair pinned up to show her face and small ears to maximum effect.
"I need to talk to you. It's urgent. It's business."
"I have no idea what you are talking about, darling," the redhaired woman said with a small knowing smile. "And... if you don't mind, I'm here on a date. A bad one, but a date nonetheless. Maybe another time?"
"Oh," she said, and walked away, defeated by the charm of the other lady, and the logic of her request.

OK, that scene with the explosions seems really unusual. So the killer from before (British, I'm guessing - they use Brownings, yeah?) almost gets into the rigged car, but avoids it at the last minute. BP against a failed kill? And catsuit woman watches the explosion happen, but doesn't get a good look at the saboteur. Failed find?

The second scene is a bit more obvious, I guess. Failed lover connection, possibly a failed find. Did you say you were the blonde, Gamelon?

He sat in the back of the cab as it drove at random through the streets, his mood incredibly sour. He knew why. A lack of attention. He was getting jealous, and needed to take it out on someone. Preferably someone who was in on the game.So when the cab's radio reported a crime scene, he ordered the driver to go to it, pronto. A few streets away, he spotted a shape he knew, golden teeth glimmering but features otherwise hidden. He janked the door open, rolled out of the car, grunting as his shoulder hit the concrete, then launched himself with a haymaker at the other mans chin. Blood splattered and the guy in the sweater went down like a sack of bricks. "Don't know if you have anything to do with that mess," he grunted, nursing his knuckles, "but damn, I needed that."

When he got back in the cab, he ordered it to drive to the hotel, urges satisfied. He failed to see the other guy getting up, grabbing a few golden teeth from the street, and shaking his fist at the car.

She stretched her pinstripe clad legs to put emphasis on the high heeled black Jimmy Choos she wore, and looked through her eyelashes at the cultured man opposite her, scanning him for any effects.
"So, what do you do in life?"
"I overcome obstacles," he said.
"Is the pay any good?"
"Less than I would like, but I'm sure you know as well as I do that you have to sell your soul for the big bucks, and that's not worth it, in my humble opinion."
So, he was a smart dresser and had morals. She had encountered worse in the past.
