It's split between gut feeling and the notion of scum taking advantage of a situation where a participant is playing inconsistent. I feel Spites play is too obvious for being scum, but to a scum looking for a train to start, it's a perfect tool.

I'm back around as well. I'd prefer Gamelon over Spike to be honest as well. I just see Gamelon is more scummy that Spite after a bit of a reread. Day 1 Gamelon was onto Silchas Ruin about the Syndicate thing, after being explained Syndicate is mentioned in the OP he still said ok I'm a bad reader, but left his vote on Silchas anyway. Same thing Spite did, although Gamelon didn't say its now a joke vote, he just didn't mentioned it further.

He's also said a couple vaguely scummy comments as been picked up by people and mentioned already.

Spite why don't you think Gamelon is scum?

If we can't get te numbers fo Gamelon I'd probably switch to Spite, with only one death so far we're still in a good position, and I'd like to see another CF to explain the weirdness that was Korvalains. We should be lynching every day and if the only option is Spite then unfortunately it might have to be Spite.

Ok after having looked back for the reasons behind the train on Spite, im not entirely sure what to do, on the one hand most of Gamelons arguments and his original case just seemed to me to be absolute rubbish and to a lesser extent some of liosans have been the same, so i very much doubt the symp of silchas theory. The arguments about some the incosistencies seem to have a bit of merit so i can see how Spite could possibly be scum.

One other thing i noticed was this ridiculous thing with people speculating who the russian was based on who was on rather than trying to catch the interrogator as we know that it being a day action and provisionals not being allowed it had to have been submitted some time between the end of night and the first scene. I dont know why noones pointed this out but i think that all the focus on the russian in the scenes could be some sort of smokescreen by scum to stop people thinking about the interrogator.

If i remember most of that has been done by spite and Gamelon (i could be mistaken about that). So right now ima bit more suspicios of Spite as even though Gams arguments have been a bit rubbish im getting more of an inno vibe from him than Spite, so before i go to bed

Right before the vote post made above, Gamelon's describing why he doesn't like Spite and think's Spite is swinging the lynch. His next post is right after night ends, and is a vote on Spite for "swinging the lynch" and "filling the thread with nonsense." (Post 668). So it seems like he was trying to set up Spite even before siding on the "switch" that Spite had supposedly swung.
