OK, to clear up the confusion.
First, you people need to learn to fucking read the rules, the amount of questions I get regarding stuff that is actually in the OP is driving me nuts, and the responses of 'oh, I should go and actually read it, LOL' are making me distinctly unpleasant to those near and dear to me and basically on anyone asking me stuff they should KNOW, and it carries on against those who actually have legit questions.
The actual fact that people have received votes for correct reading and interpretation by the uneducated masses who apparently lack reading comprehension and then claim 'special info' is sad. Since this is not only my opinion, but that of the entire mod team and that we feel it is influencing the game in a fucking bad way, I now step up to my soapbox and rant.
That I then have to step up and actually have to meddle to clear up confusion for which there was no fucking reason and which I do not want in my game, is making me feel dirty.
I am a firm believer in the school that mods should only create the conditions and then let the game run within the rules and conditions they set. However, you ALWAYS, as a mod, should be able to rely on your players to pay attention to the conditions you create. I feel that I cannot trust on that. I also have received several PMs by people who think the mods are out to screw them and deliberately misinform them in role descriptions and later mod PMs.
Just NO, okay?
I know I fucked up with the sign-up thing, it has since been corrected, once again my apologies for that.
One major part of the problem is the issue of multiple factions within the town.
THE ONLY WAY A TOWN FACTION CAN WIN IS THROUGH POINTS. IT ISN'T LAST MAN STANDING. Eliminating an entire faction is thus NOT removing their chance to win, although it does seriously harm them. The only faction that cannot win without cutting down town, is scum.
Protip from the game designer: focus on realizing your own win-conditions, not on hamstringing others, that's a secondary strategy.
On an actual game/rule related note, and this I am happy to clarify as it is proper modding:
I get a great many questions regarding the British 10 point condition.
The Brits gain 10 points if they, on average, collected the most votes on them for lynches.
So, say you lynch a Brit today: 9 votes on the Brit. At the end of the game, we divide the number of votes per faction by the number of players on each team. If the Brits collected the most votes per player, they get the 10 points.
There is much anger in this one....
I now let you continue to play the game in the way you all see fit.

Someone (Ano I think), made a really good point that simply voting off someone who isn't in your team (or at least doesn't appear to be) is shortsighted as it only helps scum. I don't subscribe to there being symps in this game, at least not in the usual sense, and the case against Spite seems to be that he could be a symp, but his case against Game is that he voted for Spite, and that he doesn't think he is scum, which is so scummy it almost seems innocent(!), so neither 'case' is persuasive (to understate it). I would say it's too late for the train to shift, but I thought that yesterday.
Well Meanas it has been my experience that scum usually try to avoid pissing matches like the one that me and Gamelon had here today. That is the only reason that I think it unlikely that he is scum. I know that I am not scum so...Other then that there aren't that many choices. I thought that the days were 24 hours? There is no way that it has been 18 hours since the day started. Just a sec

Truth be told Spite, I realize there's a possibility you're telling the truth. However it would help your case alot if you actually had another lynch choice in mind - if Gam isn't scum, who do you want us lynch instead? This game seems really hard, and at this time there isn't much to choose from. Unfortunately the amount of information is clouding our first priority, the scum, making them increasingly hard to spot. Maybe, hopefully, that will change, but at this point I only have your inconsistency and Gam possibly taking advantage of that - that makes two choices.
Spite, if you're still there, who do you think we should lynch?

It looks like it was a good day. There is to much for me to read before I have to go out, so I will wait until I can catch up(in about 4 hrs) before putting a vote on anybody.

Seriously man, I have no idea who is scum or not. I have a pretty good idea of who is on one team but as far as scum. Not a clue. Shit I don't even know who is on my team right now. It is only day 2 but it feels like day 4 or 5.
Nobody has done anything scummy. My opinions change as I read the thread. But I haven't seen anything scummy. Sil avoided the lynch yesterday but it was going to be a lynch over him understanding and reading the OP and half of everyone else not. Korv got lynched cause a he wasn't around to stop it and be kaschan made a decent day one case on him. I flipped around and flopped around trying to have fun on day one and here I am on day two. It happens. There was a lot of action last night but no deaths. Cool and all but still. PS is flipping out and I have a bunch of RL shit to do.
I realize that this makes me the number one target but there isn't really shit I can do about that. It is what it is. Would I love to live another day absolutely I would. Should we lynch. Yeah I don't know. We didn't really get any info out of the last one. Just lots of guesses. \
I don't know what to tell you. Gamelon is probably not scum, I am not scum if you want to lynch a scum today then you need to pick someone else. If you don't care (and so are scum) then you should probably vote for me to get it done.
Fatalistic sure it is but this has been a long as day for me. Not to mention a shit load of unfun posts.

I would ask that you hold off hammering me till the absolute last minute. I should be able to make it back before it times out. That way I can drop what I know and what I suspect as a last fuck you to people.

What would people say to no lynch? I know a lynch provides a cf, but if we lynch Spite and he town that just as detrimental in my opinion, as it would be two townies down and no scum down, then there the night actions, so we don't know if we are going to lose anyone at the moment due to vigs and deaths. And if scum get lucky in night actions we might go down a couple of towns players tonight.
It doesn't matter what country you're for, if we try to hamstring each other then that allows scum the chance to win.

One thing before I bug off for the night. Based on the first CF:
The Brits had 9 lynch votes added to their tier 2 Point quota.
The French can now not achieve their Tier 2 specifications.
At least thats the way I understand it. Does this jive with what others think?
I might be on before the lynch... but its doubtful.

Im actually okay with this. So yeah, no vote from me, I can't in good conscience lynch Spite as scum, because of the same reasons I couldn't lynch Silchas Day 1. If we dont get at least one CF from the night, then I will gladly string him up, for no other reason than for the info. But right now, I agree with Emur completely. However, I do find it amusing that Lio didn't comment on it one way or another.

Now does anyone remember what post number that CF was on? I want to reread it and see what Liosan was talking about.

Thefirm rapping on the thick oaken door alerted Presidente Grinto that hisChief of Police had finally arrived. "Come," said el Presidente, andthe door quickly opened and closed.
The arrival was a long andlean man, barely 160 pounds and towering around two meters. He probablycould have used a hot meal--and a good night's sleep by the look of therings underneath his eyes. Presidente Grinto was used to his Chief ofPolice looking so gaunt and gave it no additional thought. The mancleared his throat.
"El Presidente, we appear to have a... a situation." The man began, stuttering.
"Ohcome out and say it! I hate it when you take so much time to get to thepoint, Hector." El Presidente was clearly a bit annoyed with the Chiefof Police's usual mannerisms.
"Of course, my apologies, ElPresidente," the man continued. "Your fears appear to be true. We havereason to believe that there is a foreign agent working against you. Wehave been following his tracks slowly. He does not show his head often, but every time he appears, well..." The Chief of Police's voice trailsoff. He pulls out a manilla folder from his pack and tosses it beforeEl Presidente.
Hugo eyes the Chief cautiously then looks down atthe folder as he slowly opens it up. A blurry figure, hard todistinguish, appears to be engaged in a variety of suspiciousbehaviors. Hugo says, "Of course, it's possible that this man is justcautious, like me... perhaps he just has a lot on his mind or doesn'twant to be out in the sun too long?"
The Chief nods. "This is possible, El Presidente, which is why we have not yet brought him. What are your orders?"
El Presidente puts his hand to his whiskered chin.
"Execute the motherfucker," he said.

I'll be out in 15, and since it will be at 5 AM CET, I'm not going to be there when day times out (nor to resolve a lynch). I'll try and get up at 6.30 however, 7 at its latest and do the resolution then, as well as a first few of the night actions.
Please remember: you will be level 2 immediately after a lynch/when night starts.
Please also remember: call yuor PM night action night 2 or something.
And just to be very clear: you cannot send in provisionals, and I'll be very strict about that.

On the train on my phone. I am glad I could amuse you... i was headed out the door and didn't catch up on thread before I posted. Thats why I didn't comment. That being said... I am a firm believer that we need a lynch in a CF game. Say we get a CF today... we can compare the 2 trains. look for similarities in voting pattern. I find it hard to believe that scum wouldn't be on one of the 2 trains. look for inconsistencies ( which we have in spite) hell if he is inno, i would expect I will get a lot of heat. I am sticking my neck out going after spite. I can't understand why he has acted the way he has, and is still inno. Anyway, I think a CF gives us many more leads than no CF... no CF is a free night for scum. They have a free pass. screw that. I'd rather lynch wrong and gain info than sit around afraid we might hit one of our own.
So galain, if it was up to you... we would have no lynches so far, and scum would have had 2 full days to set up their options. And you are saying you are playing for the good side? At least place a vote on someone you think might be scum... something... if we all played and only voted on a sure thing team inno wouldn't win a damn thing.

Well, this is a nice clusterfuck we have going here. It seems as though Spite is the only person really getting heat, and the only other vote is on Gamelon from an OMGUS'd, Spite.
Those not wanting a lynch, if you don't want to lynch Spite because you think he is innocent, fair enough, but saying we don't necessarily need a lynch CF could be flat out dangerous. We didn't have any deaths last night which is great, but we also have nothing to compare Korv's CF to. If we go another night without a any death's we'll be stuck in this same situation tomorrow, with just Korv's CF and with no real lynch train to work on.
Plus, Spite hammering Korv when I was willing to, but ready to give him some time to get back on, and then asking not to be hammered until he can respond is hypocritical.
So, I'm going to:
Vote Spite.
I'll be on and off til lynch or day times out and slightly into the night at least.
