Wow, a very interesting point. So we hit scum day 1 XD. 2 games in a row.

ETA: I'm gonna go to bed early tonight. Rather tired, and I have a very important class tomorrow I should be awake for.

Well I wouldn't say for sure say we hit scum, we hit something weird in Korv at least.

I was actually thinking a few games ago there was the person who was Town, but if they were in the last 3, they got a NK and actually got a Solo win or something. Might be something like that? Perhaps an Island Local?

Trouble with that is, we can come up with all sorts of fantasical explanations for it we're never going to know. So for me the simple solution is to say Symp for now until we see more CF's and see if it was truely unique.

I say symp based on a) his Day 1 trying to get the lynch and thus the case I made on him, and :) his weird CF.

I don't know what to think about the symp situation now. Anomandaris, whose idea I bought into earlier, could be wrong due to that CF. I'm fucking confused.

Its a little confusing but at the end of the day its not something we should spend much time on. We hopefully have a reasonable idea on how the CF's turn out now but we seem to be getting lost in the who is Spying for who etc and forgetting we're meant to be hunting scum. There's not a lot to go on scum wise at the moment.

The only thing we have left is a weak case on Gamelon. I think Day 3 will be a time to look at some of the lower posters and see who is contributing and see who isn't and start looking at building cases.

Her suit immaculate, she stepped out of the van in preparation for the night's activities. She'd had an eventful day and was planning on--

Crunch

A sickening sound as something hard landed against the back of her skull. It may have been a fracture. Whatever it was, it hurt like hell, and she was completely dazed. She heard a voice nearby.

"Maybe you did not get the message? Maybe this time you do?" He burst into laughter and she heard his footsteps echo down the cobbled road before she blacked out.

~~

He sat there, his silver mane apparent. He sighed, thinking of yesterday's actions.

It would be a long evening. Why hadn't he brought his golf clubs?

~~

"Dear," she began, her voice envenomed with sarcasm. "Would you be so kind as to open the door?"

The hulking brute obliged, assisting her as she got out of the vehicle.

"Perhaps," she continued, "you'd be kind to tell me how your little excursion went?"

He grunted. He wasn't too fond of her, but god damn if she wasn't a coy little cocktease. Her red locks whipping around in a non-existent breeze as she calmly walked a few paces, casually taking off her gloves.

"Fine," he admitted. "I did what I intended to do. That is all I need say."

She nodded, her scarlet hair slightly bouncing just above her breasts. He found himself looking at them... they had to be C cups, at least. They looked natural, and they heaved when she sighed.

"Well that is acceptable, I suppose. We need to make sure--" she stopped suddenly, looking at the man whose eyes were clearly transfixed on a location other than her face.

"Ah-HEM, my eyes are up here?" But he did not look up to her face. Instead, his eyes turned from lovesick to horror-struck. His face was a mask of terror.

Suddenly fearful, she looked down at her own busom. A red dot was hovering on top of her chest.

He roared and lunged at her as she stood there helplessly. A shot rang out in the night.

~~

"Ah... there you are." She snaked up sensually to the others.

"I am glad to see we were all... 'informed.'" Well then, we have much to discuss.

~~

"Ungh..." she groaned in pain. Her head was throbbing something fierce. She shakily rose to her feet and tried to get her bearings. Where was she?

A man was approaching her. He looked familiar. She realized who he was from the other night.

"Hey, pal, did you see a guy hit me a minute ago?"

He walked up to her and cocked his head to the side before saying, "Didn't I tell you I have already had a rough trip? Mind your own business, honey."

He shoved her then to the ground. On her shaky knees, it took little effort. She sat there dumbfounded as he walked away.

Where was chivalry these days?

~~

He lay supine, his telescope in position. He'd already used the bathroom and was pretty sure he had a good lead on his mark. He'd be here for a while.

~~

He stood up and began to disassemble his Dragonuv rifle. He smirked to himself at his results.

Idiot, he thought. Serves him right.

He then looked down at the area onto which he had fired moments ago and saw movement.

The large man got up and looked down at the lady. She was clearly stunned, but unharmed. She reached up to his arm and saw blood on it. Inspecting it, it was clear to be a graze.

The man stood up and looked straight up at the roof where the sniper was. The sniper glowered in the darkness.

~~

Tapper, calling in. Huge thanks to PB. I'll be going to work shortly. Couple of meetings, so not full day coverage, but it will have to do ;)

Well that CF is interesting. I will stick with my thoughts that Korvalain was some sort of symp.

Why else would someone infiltrate all 4 factions and have a different name in each? The Syndicate are described as having infiltrated the spy agencies and the Korv CF seems to back that up. Since he didn't CF as Syndicate as the Mods have said then he wasn't the killer so it only leaves Symp or something similiar.

Perhaps some sort of Master of Disguise as well, but then whose he working for if he's a member of all 4? Himself? Lone winner/Serial Killer of some sort?

There are no other victories possible than the listed ones.

Well, things are certainly slowing down, especially with Spite dead, but it looks like a gamut of night actions are still being submitted. Though it is starting to seem weird that no one has died in the night. It looks like people are trying, but there seems to be a lot of BPs or heals or guards or something. And maybe the abilities get more bloody as the levels increase, so I won't complain about the slowing down.

As for the CF, since there aren't extra victory conditions, it seems the two options are that Korv was town and won with all teams, but maybe had some extra "bragging rights" objective, or he was some form of syndicate and was helping the scum. This is just conjecture, but I think 16 of us are split into 4 teams of 4, with a syndicate member being one of the four on each team. And Korv was the 17th person - some sort of wild card. 4 scum is already pretty high for 17 people, so I'm reluctant to label Korv scum, as well, but every single town member has abilities, so, in terms of game balance, I'm not ruling it out.

Also, just in case I get in trouble again for having too much information, my ideas on team distribution are just guesses. Obviously there doesn't have to be a syndicate member in every group, but that is just what makes the most sense to my symmetry-craving brain.

i am going with korv simply being a very good spy and having a protection against finds to appear as a member of any nationality. think both tulas and barghast put that forward and it seems the most sensible. if we honestly think we swung to a scum lynch day 1, i think we are deluding ourselves. nice lynch btw.

@driss - so its now scummy to make cases against players for being inconsistent? oh i gotta be scum cause i am making a case. you make me laugh i tell ya.

coupled with pathshapers repeated stating of the voctory condition i am inclined to beleive korv was a spy. also i dont see why people are so shocked i switched my vote to him, when they seemed fairly trigger happy last night when trying to lynch either me or spite. if there are scum, i would guess one or two of them hide in that little pocket of back and forths.

ok to clear up the korvalain confusion i know for a fact that he was a spy as part of his role was to send his own REAL cf to people. dont ask me what weird type of role that is, but he did have an actual cf and i cannot reveal it on thread on pain of tapper stamping on me. the message made it clear that a number of players would recieve it, possibly people on his train or by some other distinction i dont know. Korvalain was definitely a spy, just a very good one.

I'm going to have to go with Gamelon lynch. His words I think were "fuck him, he's not on my team." and as the CF turned out, He was on all the National teams. That leaves just one other team. Scum.

Vote Gamelon

this really is a ridiculous vote. You honestly think as scum, i would say that korv, who i would have had to know on day 1 is on all the teams (which he wasnt), isnt in my team and announce it just before putting him on l-1. Seriously, use your brain.

Great I log on and it's night, and if Gamelon is telling the truth we haven't hit scum at all. But at least there haven't been any night kills.

Two women, one blond, the other dark. One with an oval face, the other's heartshaped with flaring cheeckbones and fiery eyes. One dressed casually, the other in a leather catsuit. One sitting in a window, the other hanging upside down from a few toes crammed into a groove.
"Can't be very comfortable," the blonde remarks.
"I'm used to it. Enjoying the clear night sky?"
"I do. Hadn't expected to find you here, after that debacle in Istanbul."
The vertical lady smiled. "I could say the exact same about you."
"So, they didn't force you out? You didn't run? Still the same old employer?"
"I'm not one to betray my ideals. even if they force me into uncomfortable positions."
The blonde said nothing, but nodded to herself, imagining the strain on the other's ankle. The thrillseeker was still loyal. Good.

ok we have four players who jump ship and i think galain and emurlahn before decided to not lynch as they felt no one was scummy. so i am putting them two down as SPI (slight possiblity of innocence). also kaschan made the original case on korvalain, and made a set decision based on evidence they felt pointed toward me being scum so i cant fault them, so i am putting them int he PI category for the moment too. Barghast is possibly scummy, but i am reserving judgement cause being a large black man involved in loads of scenes and unable to get a french bird into bed strikes me as someone who needs all the help he can get. So i have him down as an unknown.

which leaves me hp and mockra - i jkust quoted that ridiculous reason hp used to vote me. and mockra hasnt exactly done very much of note beyond voting. so i think they are two to watch.
