hello i'm new!lol. just a quick question whats the deal with the groups? how do u change?

Welcome, dear Stradivarius! It is always such a thrilling experience when new and exciting individuals join our merry community. Just a quick word of advice: we don't do acronyms such as lol, brb, rofl, and such. Those that do will quickly be banned. Then raped.

Hope you enjoy yourself!

This is a lie, lol. Oh no, I have to go work for a second, brb.

~ROFL, as to the changing of groups, find one you want to be (High House Mafia encourages all new players to join), then pm an administrator(not sure the mods can add you) and ask them to let you join that group.

Me thinks you are showing signs pointing towards the Abyssmal Army, if kinkiness is your thing their cat fetish might be right up your alley! :p
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Hello all, Read all of SE's books this past summer and after I finish a few books from the TBR stack I'll be jumping back into the Malazan Empire with ICE's additions.
Monsignor:...Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.
Connor: [as the brothers exit the church] I do believe the monsignor's finally got the point.
Murphy: Aye.

MOD EDIT: Sorry Brynjar but could you at least wait until the new members have left the intro thread before offending them with images like this?

OWN EDIT: Awww... Where's the fun in that?

Hello everyone. First time here and just wanted to say how much I love the site. I'm a huge Malazan fan as well as other good fantasy. I like Mistborn, Dark Tower, and still think LOTR is the best fantsy book ever. Besides fantasy, I also like westerns (Lonesome Dove) and crime novels (Harry Bosch & Pendergast novels). I also love the St. Louis Cardinals and hope the Cubs never have another winning season.

Welcome Dhoop.

Your views on american sports teams are half right, and I would suggest you read the 'Harry Dresden' novels if you like Pendergast
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

Which half? I'm actually trying the Dresden novels after I finish the Born Queen. Thanks.

It's so odd when the new people bring up the malazan books in their introductions. As I spend all of my time on the general fora, I almost never reflect upon the true origin of these boards. Then the odd newbie comes along and reminds me that we're all just fantasy versions of trekkies. Then I weep a little.

Welcome all!
