I think we have some Quebeckians... they are pretty Frenchesque.

Welcome guys and or gals!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Hi in there,
I discovered Malazan a bit over a year ago after reading recommandations on Westeros, and joined here some time ago, but never posted yet. But well, there is a starting point for everything :p.
So what to say... I'm 29, and I live close to Paris (yeah, I'm also French). I'm also a mafia addict on Westeros (for those who may know me from there) even if I don't have time to play at the moment. :p

Hi everyone!
I've just entered in the malazan world!
I'm 27, and I read every book that come under my finger :p . I came across Malazan world by curiosity, and "wizz" i'm addicted to it :p .
I live in France ( Paris more precisely), so like I said in my sign': Please forgive me for any misspelling(s) or error(s) in my message!

Hey Geoffray, I think I've already met you somewhere :p That's quite funny.

Wasn't there a French poster a while back called Lily? (Or maybe she was French Canadian...can't remember)

Anyway, welcome Dunhallym and Geoffray!
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Welcome!

Tell me, are you a fan of delicious flavor? Because your name implies it. Or does it imply that you are delicious?
Human... the other, other white meat? I hope that isn't what we're going for, I don't actually eat meat mysel, but I do eat teddygrahams...

Yes that's true, and it's really good by the way.
Try it if you can (Yes You Can! :) ).
Of course we don't eat it everuday, it's more for special occasion ( such as, christmas or new year eve).
Sorry for my english ;), I'm french :P

It's no urban myth, but as Geoffray said it's not that common (and I personally don't like it). BTW, I'm not sure France is the place where people eat the more snails. When I went to Sevilla in Spain, they had a big specialty of snails.
A similar thing could be said of frogs. Yes, we do eat them, but that's quite rare (more so than snails, I've tried once in my life). And we don't have the exclusivity either :)

Welcome.. I'm pretty sure we've played a game or two at some time - I've got you on AIM and that's usually for mafia people :p
Nice to see you taking a look around.

I actually am not implying anything my real name is teddy graham. Well sort of, my name is edward and from that derived ted.

"Hey French forum members, welcome to a place where national stereotypes do not exist. Come on in for some roast beef and chips!"

I saw Rick Stein on tv eating teeny weeny snails with a toothpick in Spain, if that helps. They looked nicer than the thought of the normal sized snails that look chewy.

It's no big deal you know. It could be worse... False national stereotypes ( for example):
- We do not wear a "beret"
- Not everyone wear a "baguette (french bread) under is arm
- etc :(

That kind of thing you know :)
Sorry for my english ;), I'm french :P

But you do have terrible body odor right? And you smoke a lot of cigarettes and everyone loves Jerry Lewis... TELL ME I'M NOT WRONG!

Snails are delicious by the way. I bet I could eat a 100 snails.
