Don't sweat it, it's only an hour. I am enjoying these constant stress tests though! Hope they continue it for a while so I can mess with the crafting more and maybe practice in sPVP or tPVP sometime.

So... the final list of launch servers is now up.
I just figured I'd check what servers everyone is planning to go on?
Shiara and I have been playing on Fissure of Woe with Illy, and a bunch of our other friends are pretty much going to play on whatever server we play on.
There are no Australian servers, and we've had no more lag with the game than anyone else seems to (the only time we've really had lag at all were some huge WvW battles, and everyone was complaining about it, till they fixed it then it was fine all around), so it really makes no difference to us what server we play on, we just want lots of company
So who else is on what server, and do they have any reasons to be on that one specifically?

I will be playing on the US server Maguuma, because a substanial group of people I have been playing with over the beta weekends are rolling there regardless of physical location - a large chunk of the beta and stress tests for these guys were determining whether EU players had horrible lag on US ones, which they don't - to enable complete timezone coverage and therefore COMPLETE DOMINATION of WvW. Note, your home server ONLY determines who you fight for in WvW, playing PVE or PVP with friends on a different server is as easy as joining their party and zoning into the same place. Also you can join at least 4-5 guilds simultaneously so you really can group with whoever you want.

I was planning on rolling with the Aussies since I don't know anyone who is playing this, since everyone I know is currently playing WoW(lolpandas) or SW:TOR, and has no interest in GW2.

I'm not sure what my home server will be yet, but probably one of the US ones, West Coast preferably (if they even have them set up like that); even tho I live on the East Coast (3hrs ahead of West), I'm usually awake around 1-2am my time, which puts me in some of their prime-time. Aside from being beholden to 3 irl friends, I'm guildless atm, and pretty free. I've been looking into a few guilds, but haven't applied yet. I'd love to guest on whatever servers others end up on for random PvE insanity

Well that's why I asked, 'cause it makes no difference to us. There are no Aussie servers as I mentioned, so we are going to be on in the off hours (for that server) regardless of which server we jump on.
And I look forward to some running around in WvW with people I know
(which is why I am trying to sort out which server )Apparently the "unofficial Aussie server" is Sea of Sorrows, but meh. I dunno that that's particularly important.
So if you would like some more timezone coverage Illy we can join you. And at least for Odbi we would be on a US server, so it'll be busy even if we aren't on.
