They keep doing things that seem like trying to direct the game-and Olar makes sure no one forgets he kept saying we should all be duelling-which would be something i'd definetely do as scum because it's something the innos would figure out anyhow and it makes him look more trustworthy.

needs more risk and less gain, like ppl said--duels between innos should still result in death all the time
oh, and the only way to keep it from becoming a "eveery duelist's a finder" game, you need to do something about announcing wh you'd duel.

D'rek here. Ment, you were only able to put provisionals in for NAs (there was some long-winded explanation somewhere in here). And yes, duel mechanic ended up very very poorly, not only rigging it for town but remove any focus whatsoever from lynches and NAs. As covered somewhere else in here, I intend to make it an entirely secret thing if I were to ever use it again (ie you would only be allowed to talk about duels that have already happened on-thread). That being said, it probably just won't be used again.

On the plus side, this rigged duelling has made the game very short and we'll be done by the weekend

I don't trust Kalse for one thing, he's somehow gotten himself PI'd without deserving it.

Both Olar and Kalse have been "I dueled and I was probably dueled" and only Olar's duel with Karosis has Olar clear in my mind. If that hadn't happened, I would have thought him scummy as hell.

And no one seems concerned about possible symps. Ano could have "mistakenly" dueled Gamelon to either PI himself, or knock off a PI if he wasn't sure how a symp duel would turn out.

Or someone else on that PI list could be a symp. Olar himself has a very minor role (i.e. not much on Wiki about his character), so he could actually be a symp.

Kalse is scum and Olar is his symp? Dibs and Morgy playing mind games together? The timing is going to be shitty because I will be on the road for 3 hours -starting an hour from now. I think I need to use my duel - at least to put my mind at rest about this, but if Olar gets his speed lynch up and running...

Day Provisional: If any lynch during day reaches L-1, Duel Kalse.

If I get back online before anything like that happens, I'll PM you again with my desired action. I just need to prevent something potentially ridiculous happening while I"m gone.

Valiant General. A title I ripped off of Koei (though it's actually Sun Ce who has that title in their game). Also there is the divine general, flying general and like 20 other ones. Some of the long Han titles from the book are cool, too, like "General who Pacifies the West" and stuff like that.
